I don’t really want to have to go outside of the box to get my stuff (go to another website, give them my info, wait more for shipping). Is it just a gift card? If you don’t want to spend any extra money, you can only get solid stickers, which is a bummer. I’d rather have one pattern than two solids

Welp. I wanna try the nail stickers so I guess I’ll resub. I do my own nails and have different lengths for each hand/finger. Got sick of em breaking or bending when I get lazy and they grow out. Anyway, I have a thumb nail maybe a inch long and my middle finger one is MAYBE half a inch. I wonder if the scan will actually do the weird sizes or just go to the longest ones. Can’t wait to try!

I have been taking time to make my own nail designs lately but I will be open to trying this! I’m more excited about this spoiler because it’s completely new for me to get in a beauty box!

Ash

Custom nail stickers? I’m excited.
And that Saturday skin product isn’t bad either.
What’s awful for some people is exciting for others 🙂

ManiMe offers free shipping on orders OVER $30. Of course. If I decide to get this box I will use the GC, but the first two products aren’t getting me psyched yet.

I’ll sign up for a month. I had cancelled my sub after a long time, but these are novel enough and I’ve never tried anything like this. I’m interested as it’s very different for a beauty box product. I haven’t tried much new nail stuff since Julep ended, so I’m happy to get something nail related.

Joy-Not the Other One

I am so excited! I absolutely loved the Dashing Diva stickers we received in an earlier box and I have repurchased them in different colors several times. I love painted nails but my nails will not hold color no matter what. I’ve used every product available to make the polish stick but my nails always chip the same or next day. Even professional gel manicures chip and peel within 2 days. The stickers lasted 8 days for me!!!! Absolutely amazing. And those were the one size fits all type. I had no idea custom ones existed. I am thrilled!!

I also loved the Dashing Diva gel nail strips. I have bought many different nail strips and press-ons from that site since Allure introduced them to me a few months back. SO impressed with their products. They’re much less expensive than than ManiMe and have a LOT more designs and colors. I will try them out, though I hope to not pay for any shipping!

Does anyone know if we can skip 2 months straight ? I might have to skip January box also I did for December box. I’m liking less and less Allure. Good thing I only pay 13 for the box once they charge me $23 I’m out.

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

Yes you can! I had skipped both November and December after the spoilers were out each time. I’m actually interested in these so I don’t know if you can skip three times but I assume so.

Reply ButtonReply

Donna

I sure am hoping that we get better products than that mani gift card. Not something of interest for me at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Reeb

Same, I have unusually small hands and my fingernails are tiny. These will never work for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I’m not thrilled with it, either. Sure, it’s money, a gift card; but, it’s another hoop to jump to get to product. I’m trying to simplify, not add complications to life. I’m not renewing once my sub is up.

Coco1

So instead of the nail stickers, they’re sending a ManiMe gift card, and then we scan our nails in and choose the color/design we want?? Is that the deal?

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

These look pretty cool, but I still haven’t tried my Dashing Diva stickers lol.

Can you feel these when they are applied? I can’t stand even a thick layer of nail polish, so I haven’t tried stickers.

Reply ButtonReply

Cassandra

These nail stickers seem fun and not the same old same old. Good for Allure for trying new things. I am happy with this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz

Yikes, is that what the actual stickers are? Who wants a nail that says “Fancy a mani?” or “Hey you!”? Trying to compare this packaging to their website, it does seem like these are the actual designs. Which is a same because they actually have some cute ones on the site.

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

I’m pretty sure that this is a gift card with up to $30 value, since the service customizes your sticker size to your nails! I’d imagine we’ll get to pick our own designs, which is pretty neat if that’s the case.

Snow

Something different and unique! I couldn’t imagine getting an eyeshadow palette every month in some of these subs. Allure is different and I like that about this sub. Though I did skip December, at least it’s an option for those who bought an annual.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah v

So glad I canceled this. I was subbed for years but after the price increase and the boxes contents not reflecting the price increase, I don’t know what they’re thinking.

Reply ButtonReply

Peggy

I’ll be swapping the ManiMe. This box has been such a disappoint for me lately.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosh

Can you do that? How do I swap maniMe?

Reply ButtonReply

Helen

Join the swap site. You’ll see ‘swaps’ at the top of the page.

Randie

No more nails!

Melissa

Speak for yourself! There is a huge community of nail lovers out there.

Mary

I love press on nails & nail wraps – this is cool. I just don’t like the idea of going to a web site to get one of the items in the box (I always spend more than I should)

Sarah S.

Now this is the kind of innovative product I love to see from Allure. I am hopeless with Dashing Diva (I swear, they just do not fit my nails), so I’m hopeful that with the scanning technology on this site, these nails will be a better fit!

Reply ButtonReply

Izzie

Not for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Kate

Excited about this! I have never had a ManiMe set before, but I checked their website and I can get their base coat, my favorite design of gel stickers and a top coat for $29.40 total with free shipping ($8 basecoat, $25 gel set, promo code first20 for 20 percent off and free top coat). So the GC should cover my order completely. Says gel stickers last up to 14 days. Considering I locked in old price for the year and am paying a little less than $14 for the box, this is already a great value just with these first two spoilers.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

thanks for posting this – super helpful

Reply ButtonReply

Rhiannon

My guess is the card we receive is a promo code, so we probably won’t be able to double up on the promo codes.

Reply ButtonReply

Laura P.

Thanks also to you for the additional info Kate. I just checked out their website and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Moroccan Sunset style. 😃 To anyone who receives these and doesn’t want them, please consider listing for swap because I will definitely be searching for more on there.

Kay

I think this is such a unique addition. It’s not necessarily something I’m excited about, but I subscribe to boxes to try different things, so I’m keeping an open mind!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

I signed up for the year last Feb and have been so unimpressed with this box at the price point of $13, I think its crazy that they almost doubled the price when Ipsy and Boxy offer so much more and you get the excitement of choosing some items. I would have cancelled last spring if I could have!

Reply ButtonReply

Jody

Happy to see something new and will gladly try them. I paint my nails twice a week for a pick me up.

Reply ButtonReply

Keri

I am super obsessed with ManiMe. I discovered it through Ipsy and have been absolutely loving it. So much so that I bought a couple of bundles as Christmas gifts for my sisters and friends. I love that it’s not a one size fits all but is actually based on your nails. I highly recommend it! And their customer service is outstanding!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura P.

Thanks for the info on ManiMe me. Somehow I’ve never heard of it before. I’m excited for this item alone!

Reply ButtonReply

Kathleen

So I just cancelled my subscription because I currently have WAY too much stuff… but I’m really liking these spoilers. ManiMe seems pretty interesting…my nails are usually too small for most sticker-type manicures without a lot of trimming. Has anyone tried it out and can give an idea of how good or bad the custom fit is?

Reply ButtonReply

Gwhiz

I’ve used ManiMe for pedicures and the fit is great! They have you submit photos from a few angles and it is spot on. They aslo contact you after you get them and will redo if you’re not happy with the fit. PLUS they’ve lasted weeks on my feet and still look like a freshly done pedicure.
