I signed up for this box via MSA and for this special. I’ve read a ton of the reviews, and they seem to be a mixed bag. I wasn’t in at $15, so I have no real beef with the higher price as it’s new to me. It does seem like a valuable box, and maybe like another commenter states, as a way to discover a new brand, but not one to knock socks off with value for the dollar. I’m still new to subs so I’m still learning. (Currently sub Margot Elena, Clean Beauty, Test Tube, Mint Mongoose, Keto Crate, Pusheen, and just added Allure).

And FWIW, I bought two advents this year, and only learned of them via MSA: Keihl’s and Ritual. The Keihl’s rocked my socks…so many top notch products (albeit sample sized but some deluxe) to where I have an “order in full size” list made up that is not done yet; the Ritual was okay. Just okay.

I think of Allure as more of a discovery box than anything. I’ve discovered some pretty fabulous products through this sub. I personally don’t think the price increase has been reflected in the box contents, but a full size item isn’t a single eyeshadow or mask.

Some of these subs seem to give too much make up (a palette *every* month?!) Or have brands I have never heard of (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.) But Allure seems to provide a good balance for the most part.

I also like the simplicity of it. One box. No selection dates to remember. And easy to skip a month or cancel. That said, I probably wouldn’t pay the full $23, but getting the annual seems to be working out just fine.

If I pay for a monthly sub using Amazon Pay on the Allure sute, do I still get tge free items and discount?

Proceed with caution. Allure was my first subscription box, and I’ve been receiving it for 4 or 5 years. I’m done. With the raise in price, they promised 2-3 full-sized items. The full size are always masks, eyeliner or other makeup (like a single eyeshadow, or a highlighter). IPSY plus gives MUCH better value for the same money. I’ve been very disappointed in the last 6 months of boxes.

If you choose to use Amazon Pay when checking out do you still get the discount and the free items?

I used Amazon Pay when I picked up the November box for 50% off with two free gifts and it worked fine. (I got it today actually, with the advertised gifts).
