Ipsy has a new subscription add-on option - Refreshments!

We're kicking Refreshments off with superstar essentials for everyday routines, starting with face and body products with sparkling-clean ingredients. We'll continue to expand our offerings to help jazz up your routine.

Crème de la Crème Essentials for IPSY Members

  • Sparkling Clean Ingredients and 100% Vegan
  • Sensational Scents, Luscious Formulas
  • Star Performers, Extraordinary Value
  • Personalized Service, Unprecedented Ease

Refreshments is a new, personalized membership of clean face and body essentials at an extraordinary value for members who want to jazz up their everyday routines.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up, and you’ll get an exclusive trial offer, so you can test it out and see what you like. We’ll ensure you’re well-stocked for your routine with your favorite superstar essentials. And from time to time, we’ll add some everyday extras for you to try!
  2. We’ll then start making expert recommendations on items we think you’ll love.
  3. Update your recurring monthly orders by adding, removing, or skipping products before the last day of each month. You can skip products or cancel anytime.

Keep in mind that this is a separate membership from your Glam Bag, so you’ll get billed separately starting on your second month, but the good news is that it will ship together with your Glam Bag.

How do I sign up?

Since Refreshments is new, we’re doing a slow roll out, so not all members may have access*. Click on the new Refreshments tab (the bathtub icon!) to see if you’re eligible to sign up. If you’re not able to access it yet, don’t worry—you can sign up to be first in line to access the membership next month!

*We are not offering Refreshments to our members in Canada and D.C. at this time, but we hope to expand there soon!

Are you excited for Refreshments? If you are a current subscriber, you can sign up for the waitlist on the Refreshments tab of your Ipsy subscription. If you're not an Ipsy subscriber, Refreshments will also be available for individual purchase on the Refreshments site

What is included in the refreshments started trial kit?

Thanks

I might opt in for the free trial. I was offered this months ago and opted out to only find out now that I guess not everyone was offered it. When they initially offered it to me, I swear it was $7. I wish there was shaving cream. That I could use every month

*was not offered it

I am not sure what this is or how much? I accidentally clicked. But I need to know exactly what I got myself into.

I cannot lie and say I’m “excited” but since they offered me the trial membership I opted in.

Seems extremely boring. Nowadays Walmart has a huge variety of self care items if I really wanted to get ugly lotion, and face wipes are really really wasteful. I used to love them but made myself switch to just my hands or silicone cleansers like the PMD and a makeup eraser.

So face wipes and hand lotion every month? Not too exciting.

There are photos of some of the products on the IPSY app. It looks like “Refreshments” is the name of their own line of wipes, etc.

It’s $11 a month for the hand lotion and wipes worth $15. I copied some of the details below…

I assume DC refers to people living in Washington, D.C. proper, but… why are they excluded?

No love foe me from IPSY, I can only get on the wait list,

They left out crucial details like the cost of this new subscription, if it is an in house brand (only products from the “refreshment’ line or will there be products from other ‘clean lines?) and how does it differ from the clean products already offered by IPSY.

Has anyone been clamoring for a new skin care line from IPSY? I feel like they are launching a million new things without taking the time to see what works. If I have to pay more for their new bag (the one that replaces the Ultimate), I might not want to shell out money for this.

This sounds like they keep sending you the basics of what you use. Like sending you toilet paper cause they know you use it. Instead soap, makeup wipes, and … Qtips? Not excited but appreciate the effort. Wait and see.

All those words and I still don’t really understand what it is? Is this a separate subscription from my Glam Bag Plus or an optional add-on? Is this an Ipsy brand product only or will they be including other brands?

i’m looking forward to this — and it’s a super cute name!

Refreshments sounds like punch and cookies at a social – I think Refresh would be a better name.

i don’t think this “refreshments” is going to work here Ipsy…i mean you can buy stuff, without joining a new club…

Karen

Unless they had toilet paper and Lysol wipes.

Donna

I’ll need more information on this before I join. Lots of changes at IPSY and not sure they are good or bad just yet…..

Yep.

Exactly look at ultimate in the beginning, I only signed up in October and November because those had items I would actually use. It feels like they are bombarding us with too many options and I think it’s going to come crashing down as it’s probably going to be rushed out so fast.
