BoxyLuxe December 2020 Choice Time!

This contradicts what Instagram boxy charm says fir December boxy luxe. Instagram says a hipdot palette and Luxie brushes. It also says ALL boxes will have it. So what’s the deal? Which is it?

I got an email from Boxycharm today on an old account that said the Iconic London face palette was an either or with the teeth whitening system. It says on here though it is included in every box.

Soooo, I signed up a few days ago for Boxycharm and upgraded to Luxe because I wanted December’s Luxe box. I just now got an email that they are sending me SEPTEMBER’S Luxe box as a special “surprise”??? Um, no. Has this happened to anyone?

Hi Deb! Yes, I just looked at the choice items myself and can’t believe that these are the choices. Especially when I felt that they were just starting to redeem themselves the last 2 months…well, September’s was really good, lol. October’s was just ok, and now this one takes the cake! You would think since it’s December’s box and w/ it being Christmas and all, that they would have made it especially nice and put some nicer things in there, ya know? Maybe I’m expecting too much? I don’t know… I’m new to Boxycharm and Ipsy starting in March or April of this year so I don’t know what they are usually like around the holiday. I’m usually happy witj the majority of it over all, just this month doesn’t seem that great. But hopefully the rest of the box will make up for it!! 😁 Fingers crossed!!! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

But to answer your question….yes you can skip a month I believe? I could possibly be mixing that up with Ipsy’s policy? So don’t only take just my word for it if you are making any decisions. Double check on the websites first to make sure. If it is Ipsy that does that and not Boxycharm, I would just write them an email or try to get in contact with them over the phone or something and I’m sure they would be fine with working something out with you!

I’m really excited for this box! The teeth whitening brand has great reviews and my dentist has actually heard of it so that’s good. I love the shade of lip butter I chose and I could really use that Iconic palette. I bought the Good Genes in the pop up but I want to stock up because its amazing and I rarely see it discounted or in sub boxes the rest of the year (though other Sunday Riley products always seem to be there). Can’t wait!

Wow the choice items are a joke! I cannot wear regular earrings (have gauges) and I already subscribe to teeth whitening through my dentist. So neither of these items I would ever need. What a waste!

Yes – Im curious too – is there anyway to at least skip a month or must you cancel ? This is pretty lackluster and Its an easy pass for me.

I agree the Luxe choice is a little bit of a letdown this month, especially the first choice. I already got the Sol de Jainero and I think everyone has a sample of that KVD eyeliner from somewhere (I think I have three now, one from Ipsy, another couple from Sephora maybe). I’m interested to try the teeth whitening kit though.

Is the Sunday Riley in all boxes? It’s not clear.

What a let down on choice items. Earrings and teeth whitener? Glad I only pre-paid the 6-month plan.

Luxe is really bad this month. I don’t have pierced ears, don’t trust any random whitener kit, that face palette is too light for my skin tone. I’m going to cancel since the only thing I wanted was good genes and I picked that up in the pop-up for $18.
