While I do think it’s a little iffy to offer up last year’s box as a gift…for all those saying it’s old products, how old do you think the stuff in the beauty boxes we sub to are? Some of the ish are pretty old, if you ask me. Also, products sit on store shelves for much longer. The products themselves could have actually been replaced too.

Same here. I even went to their site right away looking to see if their advent has finally come out, but couldn’t find it, was a tad confused, then saw MSA’s note. Darn.

I remember when it went on sale briefly for $20 last year. I bought the calendar right away then. I re-used the box this year. It is a very, very pretty, sturdy and reusable box people can and should reuse, which is why I kept it. I bought 14 products for my 15-year-old daughter and made her a little beauty Advent calendar this year of her own with the box. Think I may make that a traditional thing yearly. But to offer up year old products? Yikes….
