I ordered mine on the 20th, and it never shipped. They finally told me that they were out of stock and not restocking them. They were clearly a mess this year in filling orders, I found out I wasn’t the only one.

I ordered mine on 11/25, then got a shipping notice the next day…but the tracking status hadn’t updated for a week. I finally emailed on 12/3 & was told it’s in transit & I should receive in a couple of days. Seems like they just made the label & forgot to take it to shipping until I emailed. My tracking now says “in transit, delayed”. Sigh.

Sigh – I ordered 2 boxes on Friday the 20th, one for me, one for my crafting BFF. The order status has not changed while a couple other posters seem to mention their’s shipped almost right away. I reached out to customer service and they said they are having some shipping delays and it is not looking like I will have my calendar by Dec. 1….you know, to start ticking down the days till Christmas. Anyone else experiencing this? I asked to update my order to cancel the 1 gift box bc. it won’t make sense giving someone an advent calendar after Dec. 1 and they said I’d have to cancel my entire order.

I ordered 2 calendars separately. One shipped immediately and the other one had a delay. I emailed and had the same response as you. I haven’t received either yet, but both are gifts, so I know what you mean about wanting it to arrive in time. I decided not to worry about it because even if they’re a few days late, it’s a fun gift and I know it’ll be even more fun to open a few boxes on the day it arrives.

There’s a QR code on the back of the calendar that takes you to their blog. It looks like they’re going to post art-related challenges every day using whatever tool is revealed behind that day’s door. Very cool!

I’ve been dying to try multiple products lines from arteza – I’m SUPER excited for this. Not sure if I’m going to actually treat it as an advent calendar or just open them all up in one glorious bonanza.

I’m going for the one glorious bonanza!!! You made me laugh! Love it.

You’re so very welcome! There are six volumes of Intricate Ink animals. I recommend starting with the original (and largest) of the volumes. Amazon has them. I believe one is no longer in print. I’m not on IG, but TIm is. Side note: He was a member of the White Zombies!

Thanks for the discount code, Rachel! I’ve been hoping for an advent calendar that was in my budget, so grabbing this for under $40 was perfect. I’m not an artist, but my husband and I both like to doodle some and think we’ll enjoy opening this together. Yay!!

Arteza is a legit brand. I have loved everything I have used by them. I am seriously tempted to get one!

I’m not sure if the value is there, but I bought one for my daughter anyway! She loves my excitement over beauty calendars, but she’s not into beauty products. This will be perfect! Worth the risk at this price range and this is so cute.

They had me at “Inside each door there’s a prompt…or instructions to help you use your new gift.” I never get art supplies because I don’t know what to do with them.

Oh, my gosh, I hadn’t heard of him! Thank you so much! Fauna is my favorite coloring subject. I am totally getting one of his books! Unfortunately, I don’t have a FB. I am on IG though as Boxtopus!

Aw, it’s true! You are an artist. No rules, lol. Unleash that creativity! Have you gotten any of the Intricate Ink Animals in Detail series by Tim Jeffs? They are amazing to color. He’s one of my fave artists. Email me anytime if you would like me to add you to any of my coloring groups on FB. (If you’re on FB!) There’s one just for Tim’s art. alicerachal at yahoo dot com.

You’re too kind, Alice! I think, to be a colorist, one must be able to stay within the lines. >_<
