I had added on the navy colored PMD, it was literally the only thing in my October bag I was excited about, and wouldn’t you know it, my bag arrived today sans PMD. Emailed IpsyCare and of course they are sold out of them. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened with my bags, and its beyond ridiculous that not only was it not included in my bag but they weren’t proactive in letting me know, just tried to pass it off by adding some serum I didnt want instead…I’m cancelling. Ipsy *seriously* needs to get it together and learn to manage their inventory and get the bags right. Its literally the one thing they do, they could start getting it right after so many years.

I added on the hey honey and blemish dots. I received my Ipsy Glam bag without both products. They also told me they were sold out. I got a refund but what’s the point in add-ons if you cannot receive them. This also happened to me before with the Anastasia set a few month back. Very disappointed.

I’m so mad at myself for not checking the size of the glow recipe toner before I added it. In my defense, I didn’t know there was more than one size, but apparently there is. My bag arrived today, and the toner is the 40ml size. It sells for $15 regularly, and Ipsy had it as a $12 add on. That doesn’t really sit right with me, but lesson learned – always check sizes.

The $3 Illuminati eye shadow quad I added is gorgeous, though. Not sure about performance yet, but color-wise it could be a poor gal’s dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk quad.

Second chance add-ons are available now. Sadly, the Sunday Riley CEO serum was not an option for me.

I spent $150 on add-ons this month between my 2 bags, the most ever. I usually prefer makeup, but between the PMD device, the Sunday Riley CEO and the Goldfaden MD duo, I was thrilled to stock up for so cheap! Those are my holy grail Vitamin C serums and I highly recommend both. My skin looks so much brighter and glowy when I use them.

I’ve never tried the PMD device, but Megan wrote that she noticed a difference in her skin tone and texture (if I recall), so even if it just improves circulation, I’ll be happy. Any thoughts or experiences?

I havent tried the CEO sunday riley. Are they goof for oil skin. The PMD device is the best. I have notice a change in my skin. They usually go for $99. It was a steal to see them in the add on sale. I bought another one as a back up.

Lori

Yes, I have oily, acne prone skin and I love it! A third recommendation for Vitamin C serum is Mario Badescu. My skin seems to love Vitamin C.

inkchick

My budget was sadly limited this month but I got the Sunday Riley Vitamin C, so that made me happy. Wish I could have gotten the A+ as well.

ME TOO!!!

OMG, I went a little crazy with the adds on this month. But the price points were so worth it! I finally was able to get the pmd face wand before it sold out and I got the Sunday Riley vitamin C serum, the Gua sha, they really stepped up the add in’s this month! Wish I could say the same for what is actually coming in the box lol

prettypony

I wish they would let me add more stuff once I completed the order. I did addons on both ultimate and glam bag. Now looking back I wish I would of added more. Oh well I bet they will show up on Ipsy again 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

reeb

YES! I always check out quickly in case something becomes unavailable, but there’s almost always something every month that i feel like I missed.

Reply ButtonReply

jenn

I’ve often wished that too!

Reply ButtonReply

Mary GT

I didn’t have a big add-on budget this month, or I would have bought both Sunday Riley $18 add-ons. Hopefully there will be another stimulus payment and I can get them in 2nd chance add-ons!

I did get two of the little Luna oils — I can’t get enough of that wonderful oil! I also got the pistachio body butter, the orange cinnamon hand cream, that pretty purple brush, and the glow recipe toner.

Pink5

I was happy to be able to get the Dominique Cosmetics palette as a $12 add-on. That was the price point I was hoping for.

I went a little nuts on add-ons, but there was a bunch of stuff I wanted. The Ipsy picks were okay, except for the Dr. Brandt exfoliator. I’ve tried it and it’s okay, but it stings.

I’m hoping they’ll offer one of the other bags as a sale item or second chance add on, because I would like to get the zipper pull charm.

I kind of regret not adding on the DC palette. I recently picked up their Berries & Cream palette and it’s gorgeous, with the best matte shadow formula I’ve ever tried. I just didn’t think the Celestial Storm palette had enough shades I would get use out of. But, I don’t’ know, I think I could have made it work for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Abbie Lee

Yes scored all the sunday riley and kate sommersville products

Reply ButtonReply

Liz

I couldn’t help myself… I got the Dominique Celestial Storm palette. It is currently full price at Sephora, so $12 was a steal, IMO. I got Rustic Glam a couple months back through Ipsy and the shadows are so nice! Excited to try the shimmer/topper shades.

Does anyone know why I can’t see my bag, ipsy picks, choose items or shop add ons??? It says it will contact me when my bag is ready.

Reply ButtonReply

Jamey

For two months I’ve not been able to get add ons. Last month I kept getting a 404 error and 2 other ones….I usually spend over 100 plus in them. This month, I was not even able to pick for my plus bag for my choices, or add ons. I was able to add on to the regular glam bag, but everything would have bought was sold out. I really wanted the Dominic pallette, and the pmd, but those were not even options or shown up as “sold/greyed out” under the regular glam bag for me.

I’ve tried logging out and back in…I’ve tried emailing ipsy and even last month sent 6 of the different codes I was getting when trying to get add ons. I could make my choices last month, but not this month.

I wish they would throw out things worth redeeming in points, I have over 7,000 points to use up, and I think I am about ready to use them and scale it back or cu ties with ipsy all together. I’ve been there almost 7 years straight, no skipping or anything, but I have other subs and I’m just not excited by ipsy, and the “daily deals” are always sold out by the time I wake up (I am a day sleeper, and awake at night) so that isnt even valuable to me anymore either.

But they most definitely have some glitches and issues going on they will not acknowledge fix for some people and they do not seem to care. I stil cant see what’s going to be in my plus..its only showing 2 items…

Natiesha

Hey Molly, try signing out and back in again. This happened to me once and that fixed it. Hope it works for ya

Reply ButtonReply

Molly

It’s still not working for me.

Carol

I added the A+. I used that (and occasionally Luna) for about a year and my skin looked amazing. I switched to tretinoin at the beginning of quarantine, but it is too dehydrating and I think it makes me look worse. Once I use up that bottle, i want to go back to A+ and see what happens.

Ipsy chose for me:
Love & Craft & Beauty eyeshadow palette which Im sure I will use
Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Setting Powder…I usually don’t use a setting powder but maybe for fall I will try a more matte look.

I chose:
Violet Voss Creme Brûlée eyeshadow palette…it was the best of my choices and once again I am sure I will use it
Laboratoires Filorga Oxygen Glow Eyes…A girl can never have enough eye cream!
Araceli Beauty Gel pencil liner…the browns are a nice change from the dozen of black liners I own

I maxed out on add ons…how could I not?
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Toner- I have never used it but it sounds great for fall skin
Kate Somerville Kx Bio Mimicking Peptides Serum
Kate Somerville Kx Squalane & Hyaluronic Serum…both great products which normally run $98 each and they had them for $18!!!
Hanhoo Blemish Patch…I love blemish patches and usually order the 3M from Korea, why not try these for $3
Tarte Maracujá Tinted Moisturizer…self explanatory…sample size for $3
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil…I have used this product nightly for the last year and I love it, now I have a travel size for $3
Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinol Serum
Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum…I love and use all Sunday Riley products so these were a steal for $18 each, normally $85 each

So I spent $127.44 for my bag and add ons which are valued at $540…win win for me!!!!

Got the Navy PMD cleanser because I’ve wanted it ever since I saw SubBoxLover get one on YouTube and I wanted that specific color. I told the hubby he got me my 1st Christmas gift for under the tree😂 I figured, I’ve waited this long, I can wait another 60days, lolol.

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

Heads up that if you’re considering the PMD for $25…Causebox just announced a welcome box where you get the PMD *plus* additional products for the same price. I’d check that out!

Reply ButtonReply

casey

Just a heads up, cause box welcome box is full price $50-55ish (can usually bring down to 40ish with coupons), it’s the intro box you’re thinking of that would be $25, and they haven’t announced any fall intro box yet.

Abbie Lee

Thank you!!!!

I was thrilled to get 2 A+ serums at a huge discount since it was on my list to buy. FYI, my skin does not usually like SR products (oily and prone to breakouts) but this is one item I’ve had great luck with! It seems to help curb and clear breakouts for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Robyn

Okay I added the PMD cleanser because for $25, I want to see what the hype is. But I want to ask for those who have it, is it worth it?/wnat are your experiences? (Tried Googleing it and just seeing influencer sponsored blogs)

Reply ButtonReply

Miss Love

I bought one a few months ago and was excited to see what the hype was too. I ended up getting rid of it. I didn’t notice any difference with it and the vibrations , no matter what setting I put on gave me a headache. Felt like someone was jackhammering my face and the vibrations are very uncomfortable to me .

Reply ButtonReply

Natiesha

I love mine! I use it with my salicylic cleanser and literally wash my face for 1-2 minutes in the morning and have been using it probably 6 month plus. I warm it up under hot water for awhile to help dissolve the oils in my pores with the acids. My blackheads are way better. More than anything though, I feel like it helps my puffy morning face and improves circulation so…

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

I got mine through Causebox, and honestly, I don’t love it. I have sensitive, redness prone skin, and I found the vibrations triggered facial flushing in me. I had to switch to using it only at night because my complexion looked so blotchy afterwards. I also didn’t see much difference in my skin – I was hoping it would help clear up the congested pores/closed comedones on my cheeks and jawline, and it didn’t seem to do much of anything. It feels like a gimmick product to me. But, I already chemically exfoliate and use a washcloth, so it’s possible that I just wasn’t going to see any difference from another type of exfoliation. If you don’t already exfoliate, you might see some benefits.

Reply ButtonReply

AnnaMarie

Sometimes there can be a purging time for you skin &/or needing your skin to get used to it since it’s different than what you normally use. I used a Foreo & my skin got worse before it got better when I switched to the PDM. Similar cleansing devices too & my skin is sensitive & redness prone as well! we are all different & all have such unique skin!

Alice

I received mine through Causebox. I’m not a fan. It’s simply a facial vibrating device. I don’t find it comfortable to use. It’s noisy, and no matter how lightly I skim my skin, it’s uncomfortable. These things are a lot of hype and no delivery, imho. I much prefer my hand or silicone facial scrubbie.

Reply ButtonReply

S.

No. I have a PMD, a Foreo, and a generic Foreo version. I like the Foreo best, then generic, then PMD.

Reply ButtonReply

Erika

I got the PMD cleanser in causebox and love it!

Reply ButtonReply

Nataliya

I barely ever use mine. It’s ok but I don’t understand the hype. I feel like my cleanser usually gets stuck in between the rubber hair and doesn’t lather much. But it’s nice for a massage on your face or to apply serum.

Reply ButtonReply

Doreen

I really enjoyed mine. I only used it for the cleansing aspect of it. There was a period in the beginning where it made me break out more but if I stuck with it, my skin looked great. Unfortunately, I just got busy and lazy so I stopped using it, but I was seeing positive effects from it.

Reply ButtonReply

Diana

I don’t think its worth it. I received 1 on boxycharm and honestly I have some others cheaper that I consider are better.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren Vogel

Did u just get done purchasing? Idk y my add ons aren’t working! The page won’t load! I keep clicking shop add ons and it just stays on my glam bag Ultimate page… 😭😭😭

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren Vogel

My add ons aren’t working!! Anyone else having this problem!?

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Rodriguez

I’ve been having this same issue all day!!! I am so upset I’m missing these great add ons!!!

Reply ButtonReply

MJ

I loved my bag and add ons this month! I never get on in time for Sunday Riley so I was happy to be able to get all of them today. I also added the orange cinnamon hand cream because it seemed like it would be a nice Fall scent. Excited to get everything.

Reply ButtonReply

CJ

I got the cleansing device, watermelon toner, honey silk serum, tinted moisturizer, and blemish spots

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

I’m a little sad that they didn’t have the ultimate bag as one of the add ons like they normally do, I was so excited for it.

Reply ButtonReply

JuliaJ

Me too! I was really looking forward to being able to add on the Ultimate bag. If I had thought they might not offer it, I would have just gone ahead and gotten the Ultimate too. It’s one of the few times I really wanted all three bags.

Reply ButtonReply

Miss Love

The ultimate bag was available last month with the add ons.

Amanda

They may add it on as a last chance add on sale in about a week. Although last month the bag wasn’t available.
