The Birchbox Limited Edition: Holidays at Home is available now!

We know how crazy the holidays can be, and that they may look a little different this year. This box was carefully curated to make the holidays at home a bit more delightful, relaxed, and fun. That could mean a good scalp scrub after a long day of online gift-shipping or a spritz of a calming lavender facial mist to destress after hours with relatives. An overnight facial to revive dull skin (and fake 8 hours of sleep), a luxurious hand cream to soothe dry, cracked winter hands, or a swipe of gold eyeshadow and red lipstick, to get a little glam for fun. No matter how you’re spending the holidays this year, we want you to enjoy this box and take a moment to treat yourself (or your loved ones) with extra care.

Add the $10 “spend $35, get a free mystery sample pack” to this and it brings it down to $21 (including tax for me)!!

This is the one of the worst limited edition box I’ve seen and I’ve been with Birchbox a LONG time and bought MANY. I have 4 of those facial sprays already. 4! Who is wearing red lipstick this year with masks? Nothing “holiday” about this box at all. No fun extras like Bombas socks or candy or anything? Man, this makes me sad for some reason. I usually buy several of these as gifts.

100% agree this is by far the worst Holiday LE they’ve ever had. The most exciting kit or LE they have had the moment is the $25 skin care kit. This is being said by a gal who isn’t even remotely interested in skin care beyond face wash.

Oh and there are too many repeats in this LE. I’ve received all from Birchbox multiple times over the last few years either from other LE’s, kits or my subscription. Except the mascara and night brightening cream. However, that being said BB has included different brands of brightening sleep cream in other LEs and kits this year.

And agreed again on the red lipstick. But, what makes it even lamer is this is the 3rd year in a row Birchbox included a MAC red lipstick during the holidays. Either was in an LE, Holiday lip kit or in 2019 when they sold a MAC kit.

I have the same reaction. No extras at all? This is so boring to me. I remember the holiday boxes in the past with some fun items thrown in, like socks or hot cocoa or a book? Something fun? This kind of lame to me. I do like the eyeshadow, but that same shade is on sale for 50% off on the Sephora site right now, maybe I’ll just buy it there when they have their sale.

Word to the wise: if you’re interested in this, add a face mask to your order to nudge the pre-tax total over $50 for free shipping.
