It contains a note from the editor, opportunities to win free boxes, a list of all the items included in this month’s box, and TheraBox FAQs. I love that TheraBox provides a description of each product, a link to the product’s website, the cost of the item, and a coupon code if available.

Broad Spectrum Fizzy Disc Bath Bomb in Relax & Unwind by Clearly Balanced Days, 5 oz. – Retail Value $13.99

This is a seriously big bath bomb! I am not the most relaxed person, which means it is really hard for me to relax, even in a soothing bath. So this year I wanted to use my beautiful master bath more, but I have to admit that I really have not done a good job with me time lately. So maybe this was the perfect item for me this month! This fizzy disc is made with 100mg broad-spectrum CBD (no THC), ylang-ylang, elemi, chamomile, orange, patchouli, and tansy. The blends are meant to ease stress and tension, calm your body and mind, while preparing you for a calm state before bed. This disc really fizzed a ton in the bath, lifting up that amazing aroma from the essential oil blend. This left my skin feeling super soft and my muscles super relaxed. I would absolutely buy more of these!

Evening Google Eye Mask by Vitamasques – Retail Value $7.50

This mask is all about prepping your under-eye area before bed! The area under and around your eyes tends to become more dehydrated because it is an area that we tend to ignore, and we can see fine lines and wrinkles faster from squinting (something we all do from looking at screens way too much). This mask is made to soothe redness, decrease any puffiness, and smooth out fine lines while increasing circulation. The main ingredients are copper, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, and Centella, all to help moisturize and nourish your skin. This mask fits perfectly on my eye area covering all the way to the top of my cheekbone. It had a ton of serum on it, so much so that I was able to rub excess serum all over the majority of my face after removing the mask! I can't say that I noticed a huge difference in my eye area the morning after I used this mask, but I think this is something that you will see results over time. For me, I really just love the relaxing aspect of heading up to bed early to lie down while my mask does its thing for my skin!

Purifying Hand Spray in Morning Calm by Essence One, 2 fl oz. – Retail Value $12.00

I am obsessed with the way this hand spray smells! It is made with Aloe Vera, Spearmint, Bergamot Mint, Patchouli, and 70% Ethyl Alcohol. So super refreshing! The directions say to use this as a cleansing hand spray, just shake well and spray on your hands generously before rubbing it in until completely absorbed. You can also use this as a spot cleaner on hard surfaces, just spray and wipe clean with a dry towel or cloth. I've been using this at home for spot cleaning smaller spills or for a quick hand clean on myself or my kids after eating, usually after having ice cream or popsicles because they get sticky. I can't say that I would use this as my main hand sanitizer while going out right now, but I absolutely love the smell and have really been enjoying using it around my house!

Lavender & Mugwort Herbal Eye Pillow by The Happy Shoppe – Listed Value $25.00

I love eye pillows like this! I use one every night because they are a great way to help provide pressure on my sinuses (super great to relieve headache pain). This pillow is unlike any that I have because the scent from it is so strong and amazing! The pillow is made with lavender for calming and reducing insomnia and anxiety, and mugwort which is known to produce vivid dreams and clear negative energy. The pillow is also designed to provide a gentle accupressure against the eyelids to help you relax and release tension. You can either keep this pillow in your fridge to use it cold or you can heat it in the microwave to have a heated pillow experience. I have been using it warm because I love having heat on my eyes and it makes the pillow a bit more pliable to my eye area. This is my new favorite eye pillow and has really been helping me relax and release tension!

Pure Essential Oil Remedy in Sleep Tight by Way of Will, 0.5 fl oz. – Retail Value $29.00

Roll-on essential oil blends are my go-to before bed, during meditation, or a slow yoga practice. This blend smells incredible, it is smooth, relaxing, and has a warmth that I want to always have around me! This blend works to create a calm to combat insomnia and aids in relieving anxiety and depression. Sleep Tight is made with bergamot, geranium, neroli, rose oils, sandalwood, and sweet marjoram. I have been using this blend on my temples and behind my ears every night before bed so that I can smell this soothing scent while drifting off to sleep. My anxiety lately has been pretty high most days, so I have even found myself reaching for this oil blend throughout the day or when I meditate to help create an even deeper calm. This plus the eye pillow have been helping me so much to create an incredible sleep experience!

Sweet Dreams Journal by The Happy Shoppe – Listed Value $18.99

I love sleeping! I can fall asleep within seconds, ask my husband, and I have fully mastered the art of the 15-minute power nap. However, since lockdown started back in March, I have not had the best sleep habits, staying up way later, tossing and turning, having crazy dreams that make me feel like I'm never in a deep sleep. Needless to say, I was super excited to see this sweet dreams journal! This journal is designed to help you track our sleep, create a sleep schedule, make your bedtime routine more relaxing, and ways to make your sleep environment better. You can log your progress to understand your sleep patterns and create change! I can't wait to dive into this journal more to work on getting more restful sleep and allowing myself a quiet and calming bedtime ritual instead of just crashing to bed as I do now.

Foaming Face Wash by Grace & Stella, 5 fl oz. – Retail Value $19.00

This is a mild face wash that is cruelty-free and 100% vegan! Plus, it is fragrance-free and designed to be gentle on your skin, making it great for so many skin types. It is made with Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Aloe Vera Extract, and Hyaluronic Acid. This blend works to balance pH, tones, primes, moisturizes, hydrates, heals, soothes, and restores your skin while locking in moisture. I currently have a cleanser that I swear by, but I always love trying new products to see if they are my new golden product! This face wash was just ok for me personally. I didn't love the foam, even though it lathered well, I didn't feel like it fully got my makeup off. My skin felt clean but slightly dry, which isn't abnormal for me since I have naturally dry skin. All in all, I can't see myself switching to this for everyday use, but I think it is a great product to keep as a backup or use when traveling.

Night Moisturizer by Organic + Botanic, 2.11 fl oz. – Listed Value $19.99, Retail Value $14.90

I received the Madagascan Coconut Rejuvenating Night Moisturizer this month, but you could have also received either the Amazonian Berry Reviving or the Mandarin Orange Enhancing Night Moisturizers. The coconut blend that I received works to counteract daily stress, boost and seal moisture, and rejuvenate your skin overnight. Organic + Botanic products are also 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free. I found this moisturizer to be super lightweight and it absorbed into my skin quickly. If you have been following my reviews over the years, though, you know how much I don't like anything coconut, taste or smell. This blend had such a strong coconut smell that I couldn't get past. I tried it for a few nights though and each time it didn't feel like enough moisture for my dry skin, unfortunately. It really felt more like a heavier serum than a moisturizer for me personally. I tried pairing it with my other nighttime routine products, but I still found my skin feeling tight and dry after everything was fully absorbed. I am going to hold onto this though and see if I can pass it along to a girlfriend that it might work better for because I really love the quality of Organic + Botanic and would love to share this amazing product!

The Verdict: This month's TheraBox was a winner! I honestly loved everything and the theme felt so spot-on for what I needed in my life at this moment. The only products that I didn't love where the night moisturizer and face wash, but I tend to be picky when it comes to products like this only because I need so much hydration for my skin. The eye pillow and the eseential oil roll-on were my absolutely favorite items this month, they work so well together or on their own. The hand spray is basically almost gone I have been using it so much around my house, and the bath disc was an incredible treat for myself! I love that each month really tells a story, and this month was just so spot-on in the curation! I think this is the perfect gift to give yourself or to another beauty and lifestyle product lover! This month's estimated retail value is $140.38 making this box an incredible deal considering the $39.98 price ($34.99 + $4.99 shipping).

I wonder if subscription box companies realize that, due to state laws/restrictions, CBD products are not available for sale in the following states:

Alaska
Arizona
Delaware
Hawaii
Idaho
Louisiana
Mississippi
Ohio
Pennsylvania

Last time I’ll gripe about this box. They just need to change their sub name to something that speaks to wellness and self care. Both of those topics can be important aspects of the therapeutic process, but by naming their sub Therabox I expect a box with a therapeutic topic. Say anxiety, provide a great book about anxiety with a complimentary workbook and have a forum where people share about their journey coping with anxiety with the goal of feeling supported and not alone. Plus a few other items like a meditation online sub, flash cards with thinking errors, etc. There are a few boxes that do this well. Can’t think of what they are on top of my head, but I am sure some of you know.

The items in this box are great. Just pick a name that fits what they are truly supporting: self care.

I won’t quibble about this again. Letting it go now 😊.
