Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you’ll receive a surprise selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs. Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, teens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you’ll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you’d like to receive one or two pairs per month.

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription’s products are designed in Venice, CA and made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place— as of January 2018 the company has donated nearly 100,000 socks to homeless shelters, low-income senior centers, hospitals, and under-privileged classrooms throughout the country!

This review is of the Women’s 2-pair “Wild and Crazy” subscription for $20 a month.

My September 2020 Sock Panda Review

When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive "wild & crazy" because my socks are the only exciting part of my outfits while staying at home!

Green Patterned Socks

How does one even describe these socks? These interestingly patterned olive green socks feature a unique architectural design that I just don't know how to explain! Featuring a yellow, black, and white pattern, this pair also flaunts olive green cuffs and toes which really give me an autumn vibe. While they may not have been something I would have picked out for myself, they will coordinate with a lot of my back-to-school clothes, which is definitely important! I found this month's socks to have a little more stretch to them than usual which made them even more comfortable while featuring the traditional "Give Back" and "Sock Panda" logos.

Wizard Socks

Like I have mentioned in the last couple of reviews, this subscription used to send two pairs of socks that would coordinate, but the last few months have been a bit of a hodgepodge. Don't get me wrong, I don't need 2 pairs of socks that coordinate as I obviously won't be wearing them at the same time, but it made the subscription curation feel so much more thoughtful. The second pair of socks we received this month features a wizard. Now typically I don't love cartoony socks, but since my kids and I are reading "The Magic Treehouse: Merlin Missions" book series, I was a little more excited to receive these. The light blue background reminds me a bit of winter, which is something I don't even want to think about yet, but they are kind of cute while being extremely comfortable.

Verdict: Sock Panda was sure interesting this month! While neither pairs of socks were something I would go out and buy on my own, I have found the olive green ones a pair I have reached for more often than I thought as they coordinate with a lot of my fall clothing. My Merlin socks haven't gotten as much wear, but my kids love them and when I'm in need of socks, they excitedly pick these out for me. I do kind of hope this subscription goes back to its old ways of coordinating their curations each month just because it felt more special that way. Do you think we will receive themed socks next month or another mix?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You might not get this exact set if you place your order today.
