L.O.L. Surprise! "Remix" Fall 2020 Review

It's so fun that everything comes wrapped up in these little bags so it's all a mystery until you open them up. My daughter finds it to be pretty exciting! This quarter's theme is "Remix."

L.O.L. Backstage Pass

The Remix theme is based on a global live stream dance party that L.O.L. Surprise was hosting on September 26 and we received this fun All Access backstage pass ticket. We didn't attend the dance party (mostly because I forgot), but we did receive our box in time to have everything for the party!

L.O.L. V.I.B.B. Lanyard

We also received this fun V.I.B.B. lanyard and pass for the dance party. I love that the card comes off and that the lanyard has a clip on the end so that she can use it for something else, too!

Rhinestone Animal Ears

Animal ears are the big thing for kids these days and these are especially cute and pretty unique! The silver band has little plastic tabs on the end making it more comfortable to wear and the ears are dotted with fun sparkly rhinestones. My daughter was pretty excited for these!

L.O.L. T-Shirt, Size 8

My daughter is now wearing a size 7/8 in shirts and so we sized up to an 8 this quarter since the next size down was a 6/7 and she was on the verge of outgrowing it. The shirt is just a tad long on her, but that means it will hopefully last her a little longer! She loves this fun pink shirt and she has already worn it after begging me to wash it for her right away.

L.O.L. Tumbler

Next up we have this really fun tumbler. This is actually very similar to the one she received in her JoJo Siwa box, but I think she likes this one even more! The shiny glitter in between the insulated layers is a really fun touch and she likes how the lid resembles a microphone. This BPA free tumbler holds 15.4 oz.

L.O.L. Pins

They usually send a pin in each box but this quarter there were five different pins! How cute is that little cassette tape? Now if only my daughter knew what one was!

L.O.L. Fanny Pack

In keeping with the cute mix tape design, they also sent this fun fanny pack. It's just the right size for a young girl and the design is perfect for holding onto your personal effects at a dance party!

L.O.L. Poster

The next item was a fairly large poster. The design is similar to the rest of the items in our box and my daughter loved the glossy pink color.

L.O.L. Sunglasses

These sunglasses are fun and pink with a cute mock rhinestone detail around the square frames, but the part that she really loved was the rose-colored lenses which turned everything pink! She loves being able to see the world in her favorite color!

L.O.L. Ring

One of her favorite items this month was this fun light-up ring. It actually blinks in different colors and you just push that button on the underside to turn it off or on. The plastic ring is adjustable and while she claimed it wasn't very comfortable to wear, she still thought it was really cool!

L.O.L. Bracelets

The last item in her box was this set of three light-up bracelets. They have a little switch that you can turn them on and off with and they are just a really fun accessory.

Verdict: Wow! What a fun and packed L.O.L. Surprise! Box! This megabox really delivered; not only were there ten different types of items (to recap: a shirt, headband, tumbler, lanyard, ring, pins, fanny pack, poster, sunglasses, and bracelets), but the pin set included five pins and the bracelet set had three, which I thought was very generous. I don't think they technically counted the backstage pass ticket as an item, but I thought it was a fun touch for their Remix Dance party theme. While I consider some of the outfits of these L.O.L. girls to be a bit questionable, I can't deny that this was a really fun box and felt like a fantastic value for $45.00 ($38.00 + $7.00 shipping). For exclusive and official L.O.L. Surprise merchandise, this seems like a great deal and my daughter loved it!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! This box is still available, but they do sell out, so I recommend signing up soon if you're interested.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $38.00 + $7.00/shipping for a total cost of $45.00, which means that each of the 10 items (not counting the backstage pass) costs approximately $4.50 each.

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I cant get over how much plastic waste this is on top of the added controversy.

My daughter loved this one, her favorite one so far! We had an issue with the largest size not fitting her the last couple of boxes but this one fit. To funny we thought the fanny pack was a purse and couldn’t figure out why the strap was so short. Thank you for the review, now she can wear her fanny pack.

This was really cute — my 7 year old would love it! I really wish that the box included a LOL doll or two for as expensive as it is. I ordered one box in the past, and my daughters were disappointed that there wasn’t a doll to unbox.

I was just about to order it because when i clicked on the best kids boxes it says that there is a doll or pet in each one. Then looking at the reviews I see that they don’t do that. I’m so happy i checked first because i was about to buy a year sub for one of my daughters. I can’t imagine paying almost 50 bucks and not even get to a open a lol doll.

I know! They used to include a doll, but for some reason they stopped doing that! My daughter really loved receiving those, too!
