  1. It’s a whole different world than a year ago. I see “face masks” and wonder if it’s the cloth kind.

  2. Since it’s always been this I think it’s fine. Underneath this is what we all are. No color no beauty. The whole beauty is only skin deep has a whole new approach and they have been way ahead of their time with this. I personally think this is better than companies that are just now coming to terms with what beauty is.

  3. In case anyone was interested in getting this calendar, until 9/20 Kiehl’s is offering a customizable 6-piece gwp (one item being a dopp or makeup bag) with any $65 purchase, and if you spend $115 you can choose a free full size product (from a selection of four products). You can see what the options are beforehand by going to their site and clicking the blue banner at the top.

I thought I’d also mention that last year this calendar sold out before it got the chance to be discounted, and it doesn’t stack with discount offers they typically do closer to the holidays like % off your purchase or $20 off $100, etc. I tried, but they said that it’s already “discounted” since the value is higher than the cost, so it’s not applicable to further discount offers.

    • You’re so great! Thank you <3

      • You’re welcome! 🙂

    • Thank you! I just did the gwp and ordered this advent. I’m very excited about it; I’ve had a few samples from this company in various sub boxes and have liked what I’ve tried. There will be a few duplicates between the gwp and the advent, but to me that’s a bonus; if I like the item, then yay there’s more of it, and if I don’t I can gift the unopened sample.

      • I was gifted this calendar last year, and it was pretty great. 🙂 I don’t think I’ll be gifted this one by the same person again though (I was gifted the LF calendar instead this year 🙂 ), so I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy this one this year (sad!), but this year I did get two of them for gifts for two people who LOVE Kiehl’s (one of which who gifted it to me last year and was sad he didn’t get one for himself, lol)…. but the gwp items went to me. 😉

    • this is all my daughter uses. and the gift with purchase was a great bonus thank you so much !!

      • Yay! You’re welcome! 🙂 I got a couple calendars as gifts, but the gwps were a little treat to me, lol.

    • …and it showed up this morning! Looks to be well-packaged, and I quite like the travel bag that came with the GWP. Nicely made and useful. I also bought the Rituals advent (it came today as well) so I’m struggling with which advent to save for later and which one to dive into. I’m leaning towards this one. I really need toner and cleansers and this advent has several I think. Thanks again for the heads up!

      • So far I’ve managed to stay out of the Rituals box (gotta save something for actual advent dates, right?) but I’ve started raiding the Kiehl’s box (super cute, well-packaged, properly sealed BTW).

I haven’t tried every product BUT of the few I have tried, one of them really stands out. It’s the Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado Oil. This is not a tiny sample size, and a little goes a long way. The creaminess and texture are second to none. I liked the feel of it so much that after applying to my eyes, I covered my whole face with it as a sleeping mask. I have one other avocado eye product (might be Glam Glow?) and this Kiehl’s takes the win easily. I don’t know how much a full size costs, but if reasonable, this might be my new sleeping mask.

    • Thank you!⭐️
      Are you getting this one?

      Which ones are you planning
      on getting this year? 😊

  4. Ummm did I miss something? Why is there a skeleton and what does it have to do with Art Deco design or anything about the Holiday Season?

    • In their stores they usually have a skeleton (year-round) dressed in a lab coat. 🙂

      • How attractive and Christmasy (sarcasm).

        🙂

    • Thank you! I think it is in a bit of poor taste with the state of things right now and the death toll from it rising every day. It is just my opinion.

    • It’s their mascot and I personally love it on this

      • Agree

    • It’s not meant to be Halloween-y; it’s an old-fashioned teaching skeleton like you would have seen in a medical school back in the 19th century. I used to live down the street from their flagship store in NYC, and there was a skeleton in the store that had apparently been there ever since it was a true apothecary many decades earlier.
