Hello and Happy Wednesday!

Update 12:53 PM Eastern: This issue is now resolved. Thanks for your patience!

My Subscription Addiction is currently experiencing an issue with site-wide search. If you are searching the site trying to find the latest updates for brands you're keeping tabs on, you may notice that only older content is appearing at the moment.

We expect this issue to be resolved by the end of the day today at the latest. In the meantime, I wanted to give you a quick tip for how you can find content if you're looking for articles about a specific brand:

  1. Search for a brand, such as "FabFitFun"
  2. You should see a list of suggested search results. At the bottom of this list are Categories, such as "FabFitFun" and "FabFitFun Spoilers" and "FabFitFun Reviews".
  3. Clicking one of these will show you all of the content you expect, even if the article is not yet showing up in the "All Posts" section.

Here are a couple of screenshots to help you find what you're looking for, using FabFitFun as an example:

Hope this helps! Thanks so much for reading, and we'll update here when the issue is completely fixed.

Lacey's introduction to the world of subscription boxes was Julep Maven, but she quickly moved on once she discovered there were subscriptions for cooking, coffee, and art supplies. Current favorites include Crate Chef and Ecocentric Mom, and she's looking forward to trying more.

Will you ever make it so that I can search within the text of an article? For example, I want to know if Barbara Sturm has ever been in a box, but when I search for Sturm, I only get last year’s Sturm advent calendar, and then a bunch of articles that presume I was searching for “sturdy.” This would be very helpful!

Hi Alex! Yes, we’re aware of this limitation in search and hoping to improve it in the coming months. 🙂

You’re also filtering out comments. You should fix that too before you lose more members.
