I saw an unboxing on Reddit, and both cleansers are a substantial size! I’m more interested in trying Pai’s rosehip facial oil, though.

Beauty Heroes is always tempting, but I get Boxwalla and just started See New Skincare (which both have the advantage of coming every other month), so I think I’m set for skincare.

I was so looking forward to the September spoilers since I’ve enjoyed this sub on the past. However, cleansers are the ONE product Im not using a lot since the WFH started. Other than my brows and the occasional lip balm I rarely wear makeup.

At least I got the MINTD box and that will carry me over September.

Charlotte

But…surely you wash your face at least once a day, regardless of whether you wear makeup, so you would still use cleansers?

LOL! Yes 🙂 I use the Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Cream Claud Cleanser which I love during the current situation. When I use makeup I like the “oils” based cleanser since I feel they work best to remove it.

Carrie

YES! I sprung for the one-time box (since I’m loving Votary these days but can’t afford full price) so I’m pretty excited about that!

Disappointed with this box. The value for sure is there, but I still has not open pai box from LF. I expected from this box to be more unique.

I was just about to run out of cleanser, so the timing is perfect. I’ve been slow to get on the double cleanse bandwagon; this is just the motivation I need!

I’ve been a subscriber for three years and while I don’t love everything they send, around 80% of the items gets used. I love trying new brands which are otherwise too expensive to buy retail. I also love their selection of favorites like Josh Rosebrook. The rest I give to my mom and sis, nothing goes to waste!

I do like Pai, but I got all these in The Detox box earlier this year and I don’t need backups

I’m in the same boat as you this month. I really love the Pai products I’ve tried, and I had been wanting to get my hands on that cleansing oil for forever, but I think I finally got the full size in either The Detox Box, like you said, or one of their Detox Bundle gwps. This is a great box, but I think I’ll pass on re-subscribing since I also already have all of these products in full size, and hope next month’s will entice me to come back. 🙂

These are huge bottles! I received mine yesterday, and will be saving to use together in a routine. I’m glad we received a cleansing oil. Love getting those.

I could not believe the size of these, when I opened the box I thought it was going to be body products. But I am excited to try & I also really like using a cleansing oil.

Maybe it’s a casualty of subscribing to more than one green beauty box and we run the risk of getting duplicate products sooner than we’d like. It would be great if each box has stipulations with brands to not be showcased in other subscriptions within the last 6 or so months of the release. Otherwise it dilutes the excitement somewhat when we’re overwhelmed an over abundance of the same branded products. If we’re not testing anything new, there is a risk of losing customers as well.

I’m a little disappointed in this one. I got sucked back into a 3 month sub for the Leahlani box, but haven’t been super impressed with the Josh Rosebrook or Pai. Nothing wrong with these brands, but I’m already familiar with them since BH has sent them out multiple times before. Wish they had an option to skip a month when you commit to a sub.

I’m probably done with BH after this, since I’m not discovering anything new with them anymore. With Boxwalla, they surprise me with a new to me brand the majority of the time, so I’ll be sticking with them.

I feel sort of the same. I actually had been wanting to try Pai, but… I just can’t get that excited about cleansers. I already subbed though so maybe I’ll be wowed.

Totally agree on Boxwalla. Always amazing.

Charlotte….I was a little nervous about the charcoal mask b/c most are too drying on my face. However, I just used it last night and it was unbelievably super moisturizing. I actually love the mask and will continue to buy when this one is gone. 🙂

Charlotte

Ah, thank you for pointing me towards the Boxwalla spoilers! The box looks amazing, but I think I may skip anyway. I’m already getting a charcoal detox mask in the Honua See New Skincare Box (and tbh I’m not a huge fan of charcoal masks), and I have eye creams/serums coming out of my ears. The essence looks SO nice though. I may cave.

Luna

Oooh, thanks for mentioning Boxwalla spoilers are out! 🙂 I think October’s Boxwalla will be the first one I get all year! I’ve always wanted to get my hands on the Naturalogic line, but I think I already have that mask that I got in another box…. BUT I still may cave because while I couldn’t make out the brand of the 2nd product, I think I spied that it’s an eye serum, which is one of my favorite products to receive in boxes. 🙂 I can’t wait to get a closer look at the spoilers! 🙂

Break

Soo excited for Boxwalla’s October spoilers! It’s looking pretty good if you haven’t seen them on their Instagram yet.

To be fair, the Pai cleansers are nice. My only concern is that the cream one requires a towel, and that’s a little too much maintenance for me, personally lol.

Break

Also their September anniversary box from last year was one of my favorites, so I was hoping they would do something similar, so I guess I set myself up for disappointment. Their current store gift for when you spend $200 looks more similar to that box and has a higher value than this box. Would have rather received that, personally.
