The Vegancuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. All of their products are vegan (and they tend to be natural, too). They also typically include a nice mix of full-size and sample beauty items. Vegancuts also offers a monthly Snack Box and quarterly Makeup Box.
This review is of the $22.95 a month Vegancuts Beauty Box.
Vegancuts sends a single package to subscribers who get both the beauty and snack boxes. The beauty items are separated into a little bag, which looks like more of an environmentally-friendly material than the old bags. (If you do not get the snack box, I don’t think you get the little bag.)

Vegancuts Beauty Box July 2020 Review
The Vegancuts Beauty Box usually contains a variety of hair care, skincare, and bath and body products. There’s often one makeup product, as well, although there's been less makeup lately.
The box came with this information card. I like the animal pictures they have been using lately.

Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Hair Mask (30 mL) - Estimated Value $5.70 (Buy 200 mL for $38)
I'll be honest, in the past Vegancuts hair items haven't worked well for me, but this one is marketed for dry hair, which I have (despite not having been to the salon since early March and only coloring my own hair once in the meantime). This mask is lightweight but, surprisingly, it did not all instantly soak into my hair. It had good "slip" and I was actually able to use less than the whole container to coat the length of my hair. (I will probably get at least 3-4 more uses out of this package.) It did not have super dramatic effects that stood out beyond those of a regular conditioner for me, but also isn't out of the price range I'd pay for a regular conditioner, and also I have a lot of Ulta points I could use to get a full-sized package for free.

Wicked Good Perfume Roller in Sugared Violets (10 mL) - Retail Value $15.95
I am normally not into perfume oils -- I'm more of a fan of traditionally-formulated, alcohol-based scents, because I tend to accumulate a lot of them and oils have a shorter shelf life. (This one has a grapeseed oil base, which is good for about 6 months.) I'm also not normally into floral fragrances. So this was a pleasant surprise. It has sugar notes and vanilla notes and I like both of those, and they work well with the violet. This reminds me of something from my childhood and I've been racking my brain, trying to figure out *what* now for a few days, but I keep coming up blank. Anyway. I guess I will be smelling like violets around the house for the next few months because it doesn't like I'll be back to the office anytime soon! (One application on my wrists lasted about half a day and was more noticeable while I was working out than when I was just sitting around.)

This Way Face Sunscreen SPF 35 (15 mL) - Retail Value $23.66
Sunscreen is a good item to include for summer and I like getting a bunch of different brands to try because the various products apply differently. For what it's worth, this is a small package that really retails for the listed price; it is a product from the UK. This is a mineral sunscreen with some skincare ingredients. Although it is listed as being for the face, I tried it on my arms first, as I have had some bad reactions to sunscreens in the past (usually chemical ones, though) and I never try them on my face until I'm sure they're compatible with my skin, which this seems to be. However, this is tinted and the tint is not the same as my skin tone. It has a pink sheen to it that looks kind of weird to me. I can only imagine it would also look strange on someone who is not super pale like I am. I get the point of the tint, which is that a lot of mineral sunscreens leave a white tint on you, and the tint is trying to hide that. And there may be some people with this skin tone. But I am not one of them. Still, it should work well enough for dog walks around the neighborhood where I'm not really getting close to anyone.

Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes (10 count) - Estimated Value $3 (Buy 30 wipes for $9)
This has a lot of glowing reviews on the Ulta website but it is not for me. This would never substitute for regular deodorant in the summer in Georgia. I went for a walk around the neighborhood from about 10:30 to 11 AM so it was already warm, and then I used one of these, and it made my underarms smell like coconut for all of about 5 minutes and then it was like I hadn't ever used anything at all. Sometimes when I write these reviews people ask what I recommend instead and I can honestly say I have never encountered a natural deodorant product that works for me and I use Dove Advanced Care antiperspirant because it works even after summer exercise in the South and doesn't give me a rash (I have really sensitive underarm skin). (FWIW Dove is cruelty-free but owned by Unilever so do with that information what you will.)

Delizioso Skincare Chamomile White Tea Rejuvenating Night Cream (2 oz) – Estimated Value $47 (Buy 1.7 oz for $39.95)
This is a little strange in that it is the exact same product as one I received less than a year ago, also in the Vegancuts Beauty Box. I think this is one of the first times I have received a repeat product that wasn't at least a different scent or something. It is a good product. I found that my impressions this time around were similar to last time in terms of how compatible it was with my skin -- it contains natural oils as moisturizers and those are more effective for me, for example. It has some antioxidants, which are great for summer skincare, and doesn't have artificial fragrances, which I prefer for facial skincare. A little goes a long way, too.
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $95.31 for this month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box. That's one of the highest values I've found for this subscription for a long time. I don't know that I would pay $23.66 for imported sunscreen (!) and it was a little strange that the night cream came in a larger jar than the standard package size from the Delizioso website, but overall, I was happy with most of the products, with the hair mask standing out as a new, potentially day-to-day-use item for me. The perfume was also a pleasant surprise. I am honestly liking the lack of makeup in this box lately as I haven't worn makeup for months since I've been working from home. (And you can always subscribe to the quarterly Vegancuts Makeup Box if you feel like you're missing out in that regard.)
