I am a little disappointed in both of those spoilers. I am really hoping the other spoilers are way better I don’t care for either of them. If not It will have me reconsider subscription with causebox.

Just saw the latest spoiler on FB – a waffle bathrobe or a set of 4 waffle towels (2 bath, 2 hand). They come in charcoal or mint.

I LOVED the summer box, so am hoping the fall box is as good. For a first spoiler, this is pretty unimpressive. I can always use more cotton pads, but they are not exactly an exciting item! Hoping the other items are better.

Michel Janse posted the first 4 items (2 choices) on Youtube. These were one, the other was a set of 4 waffle knit towels in mint of charcoal, or a waffle knit robe in mint or charcoal

I must be in MSA jail because my last two comments about the newest spoiler still haven’t posted, but this box still isn’t sounding like fall to me. I really hope the remaining spoilers fit the season.

I already have make up pads which I love and I go grow basil every year and mine actually just died from me neglecting it oops lol but this is still only the first spoiler hopefully the next ones really knock my socks off but still I’m not opposed to either of these just dissatisfied

I need at least one sub to bring me some true fall vibes!! It’s my favorite time of the year…I want the scarves, mugs, all of that cozy stuff!! Basil and cucumber looking pads are straight summer. Pleeeease box folks…FALL

The latest spoiler is a bath towel & hand towel or a bathrobe, so that’s a little more fall kind of (maybe not), although it’s a thin waffle-knit fabric, so it doesn’t scream cozy to me.

Yes. Right with you.

While this is obviously not the “big” item, I’m wondering if there strategy is to introduce an “annuals only” choice early in an effort to get seasonals to switch to annual, especially since the items are completely different and not just, say, a different color of the same item.
I’ll take the basil. I don’t wear much makeup and have reusable cloths. I do have a lot of plants and herbs, including basil, but I think one of these kits would be easy to have my son do as an “educational” project.

Yes, Causebox gives the choice categories as spoilers first regardless of value. Spoilers for the products everyone gets are spoiled later (sometimes after billing). Causebox likes to drag out their spoilers starting with the artist, then the box design, then finally box products one by one.

I actually like both spoilers. I am a huge plant lady and I just asked my mom to sew me some makeup wipes out of fabric scraps. I’ll probably go for the makeup rounds because I think it’ll be good to have more on hand (I use them for removing nail polish, too), and plus you get the bag to wash them in. I’m wary of the basil seed-looking things actually sprouting. It’s been hit or miss for me in the past using similar items, AND I have two huge pots of basil outdoors right now that I am going to try to bring in this fall/winter. But otherwise, I think herbs are appropriate year-round because many people grow them indoors in their kitchen.
I have been (im)patiently waiting for my Summer Intro Box also (I think I got the 2nd version? NOT the one with the face vibrator, LOL!), but I just got the tracking # sent yesterday so it should be here soon! I subbed for a whole year so I could customize my items. I have had good luck with CB in the past, so I am excited for the fall box.

You use them to remove nail polish?! Tell me your secrets!!! I go through an UPSETTING amount of cotton balls removing nail polish and would love to switch to something more sustainable. Do you use a specific type of nail polish or nail polish remover? I’ve never tried using a cloth to remove nail polish bc I figured it would just harden onto it for forever. I love this idea!

The Buzzy seeds website says recommended planting their basil in the spring & blooms in the summer. Not quite sure why theirs basil that’s a summer herb in a fall box. I don’t know if it’ll grow as well in the fall with the colder weather & less sunlight. Not a fall, cozy herb at all. They should’ve put a plant growing herb in the spring or summer box. Feels very careless & thrown together, seasonally curated wise.

I love causebox and I want both of those. They have been slow in shipping since the Covid hit but usually once you gat a tracking number the box comes fast. Their box is always good quality. It’s one of the best ones. I am annual and will be renewing next month

I still haven’t got my full size summer box I paid for on May 11. I won’t be getting another of their boxes. The season your purchasing will be over before you get the box.

I just got mine today and ordered roughly the same time. I have mixed feelings about it. I’m happy to get to try the PMD and the bowls are pretty, imo. I got the tassel earrings chosen for me, which I have no use for, and the general purpose balm – which is small. Sure, you only need a little, but it looked bigger in the photos. The diffuser also is small and half filled. Clearly I didn’t read the description well enough. All in all I’m not upset I tried Causebox, but after so much delay I’m not all that moved with the box now that it’s finally here. The bad part is I purchased intro box number whatever, which I’m sure I’ll see sometime in September 🤦♀️

I like it. I don’t need a ‘wow’ first spoiler because Causebox never disappoints me. I also don’t get hung up on seasonal themes. I certainly hope the next items are not mugs or scarves lol. Most people have tons of mugs, and I have no need for another scarf in most winters on the sub tropical Gulf Coast. Those items last forever anyway (even if one would use a scarf everyday). I’ve got one winter scarf and that’s plenty lol.
I’m still waiting on an additional box I purchased in early June; but, I don’t mind the wait. CB has been very thorough in their shipping details on our account pages. Mine is still on schedule to arrive this month.
I enjoyed my regular annual summer box despite not liking the ridiculous PMD ‘face vibrator’. And, that’s exactly what it is.

I’m wondering if they planned the basil for summer box and the supplier was delayed due to COVID?
Lc
I cancelled because they never sent my summer intro box and I got tired of waiting. They claimed to have done me a favor in processing a return “this time”. The favor would have been to actually sent the item ordered in a timely fashion, ie summer box before fall season. Looks like they are in no rush to keep subscribers happy.

None of the summer intro boxes have shipped yet…they are starting to ship the intro boxes mid-August to the end of August. They have a shipping schedule posted.

I gotta say…this is not ringing my bells. I signed up for the summer “latecomer” box …I forget what they call it…the editor’s box or something? I did it for the pmd and I have yet to receive it. I know everyone on the FFF comments loves Causebox so I’m trying really hard to get excited for this sub, but this is not doing it. This feels like the extra junk they toss in as a “surprise.” I might wind up cancelling before I receive anything.

Hey ladies, don’t give up so quickly. One of the choices is either a robe or A four piece towel set. And it comes in either mint or charcoal for the choices. They’re starting Out small and choices but it’s gonna get better.

Umm, I checked IG and the subscription sites multiple times today for . . . .this? I actually don’t know which I’ll choose and love Causbox but am still waiting on an intro box ordered a month+ ago. And since Fab Fit Fun just had the Makeup Eraser in their summer box this seems odd. (Though these rounds do seem more Causebox-y than the Makeup Eraser would have.)
Looking forward to the next ones and hoping they’re much more exciting and fall-y.

I really like both of these and not sure which one I’ll choose. Causebox usually waits to spoil the hero item as the 2nd or 3rd spoiler, so I’m not at all concerned.

I cannot believe this is the first spoiler. Am I wrong or did the lead off the Summer box with the PDM. Hope the rest is incredible because this one is a miss for me.

Kay
The first spoiler for summer was the Reed diffuser. PMD was the 2nd spoiler.
Reply
Andrea
I thought the same thing that it was the PMD brush but , Kay is right it was the Reed diffuser. Which kept me in the game to see if I was interested in starting a subscription with them in first place. Someone said that since this is such a low price item maybe there is an incredible item in the box that takes up most of the value. That is an interesting thought , it’s not like I hate these items they just don’t feel like fall. So if the other items are awesome it will be one “ok ” item . It’s just they really drag out their spoilers . I really want to see what’s in this box!! And I don’t like they don’t have a schedule for the spoilers . I wish they’d at least give us this. But at least they don’t torment us with hints. Oh well here’s hoping to an exciting fall box , that will be as enjoyed as the summer box was to most if us !
Bethany Largent
I noticed there is a scarf on the box design, which makes me think there might be one in the box. If they start with something cheap, like these first spoilers, then it makes me think there is something really big coming. Does anyone know when the next spoiler is? Or when we can customize?

Reeb
The next spoiler is a choice item— a towel set in one of two colors or a one size fits all robe in the same colors.

Izzie
Where did you see that? Spoiler on the spoiler!
Charlotte
Oh, yikes, I’m for sure canceling then. I don’t want to do an annual subscription, and “one size fits all” does not cut it for me.
Kay
Customization will probably begin the last week of the month. If Causebox follows their normal schedule, well probably get a 2nd spoiler on Friday.

I like these spoilers and would be happy with either product (which is great, since I don’t get to choose), but I agree with others that this being their headliner spoiler is a strange choice. Both items feel like filler, tbh.

Hahaha so on the one hand…I was just considering buying both of these things. On the other…buying both together was going to cost me maybe $5. Just watch both be valued at like $25.

Causebox, IMO, does a good job of giving fair RVs. The silicone lids were RV $7 or $8 for example.

shakingmyhead
Very true. I love those lids too!
Zo
Those silicone lids have been so useful in my kitchen. There is always at least one in use. The large one fits a watermelon half. I use one for covering beefsteak tomatoes as I never use a whole one at once.

…okay but actually in all fairness I just googled the Buzzy Seed Co. and they’re super adorable. I would def be excited if the box came with a discount code for their site!
