BoxyLuxe September 2020 Spoiler Round #3!

I canceled and went to ipsy for two months. I’m back to boxy and immediately got the luxe back. I’d like to try the 111 skin, I never have. I have brushes up to my eyes, but with two teen girls, I save stuff for stocking stuffers. For a small price I get to try things I’d never have bought with Boxy (ipsy too) and for that I’m grateful. I do agree their customer service is lacking.

This is my first BoxyLuxe and I’m excited for the farmacy eye that matches the face serum I recieved in PopSugar Must Have. But, I’m not as excited about the other spoilers. I want nothing to do with that brush set. It looks like pretty bad quality. And I would only want the Fenty highlighter if it were in Afternoon Snack/ mo honey or Metal Moon.
How many items are in Luxe?

I am hoping to at least get the pur brushes

I’m not feeling Boxy anymore. Since I paid for an annual subscription, I feel like they just grab whatever is closest and throw it in my box. This month, I am even missing an item. The most expensive item that was supposed to be in the box! (minetan serum) I get purple/blue eyeshadow, even though I said I prefer neutrals in the profile. The luxe box seems like it should just be a normal box. The premium box, so far, looks better. I am completely underwhelmed by Boxycharm, and a little bored with getting stuff that I will not use. I think it’s time to break up. I am paid through September, and then I’m out. If nothing better comes up in Luxe, I need to get that cancelled by next week, too. Fab Fit Fun was better for the $50 than Luxe. Maybe I’ll head back over there. Or take a break since I have more product than I will ever use! 😉

Oh wow a cheap brush set or over hyped face masks loaded with perfume. So many reasons to step away but I never do 🙁

Lol I know i should be stepping away, but Luxe usually has a really good palette to make me stay. I have until next week to cancel of needed.

I almost bought those brushes today, hopefully I get them in my boxy instead 🙌

I’ve had a box of the masks from FFF already and I’m not feeling them again. I’m not really into the hydrating masks with my oily skin so…. I’m hoping for the brushes. I can’t have enough brushes, except when I have to clean them lol! I’m over the highlighters in funny colors, but I am happy with what I picked out so I’ll see what happens. I’m about on overload on products so may have to quit for a while soon… Having trouble pulling the trigger on boxy though. Ipsy however has been very disappointing for several months now so I stop them for a while first.

So far I am liking all of the spoilers and the two choices I made,I am curious as to see what is in the rest of the box.

I really dislike 111Skin. I think they have a BG retail value, and I really hated the serum since it smells and feels like alcohol.

I like seeing brush set, but this one really don’t look so well made…

I really hope to get the mask. I have received them in my fff box and really liked them. Would never paid that much for sheet mask but they are really nice. They have a pleasant smell and stay on your face pretty well. I will probably get the brushes because I picked the tomatoe serum and that already 150
$. I wouldnt mind the brushes either. the container is super cute. I’m excited for this box

I like the brushes AND the masks. They can keep the highlighters. 💁🏻‍♀️

I really hate those face masks. I can never get them on my face right, The rubbery ones always break and do not work good for me. I still do not understand why they are so expensive.

Alot of these spoilers are being sold on selling sites, right now and are being sold a whole lot cheaper than what the actual brands are asking for it, on there websites and stores. Not really impressed with any of these spoilers! I have a feeling, that i will be seeing alot more of these items on the selling sites by the end of next month! Lol

I want the 111skin Sheet Masks, but the likelihood is that most people won’t get it because of the $150 retail price tag. Hope to pick up a box or two from eBay for cheap.

I think it’s time to cancel. I have been wanting to cancel for awhile but too chicken to pull the plug. Their customer service is so terrible, I have missing boxes, garbage products that look nothing like what they advertise….none of these spoilers appeal to me. I’d rather use the money to buy something I’d actually use. Unless something miraculous shows up, this may be the month I finally grow the balls to cancel all my Boxy subs. I’ll miss the Popups, but they always mess up my popup orders too so….

I think Patricia Bright did review of those highlighters on YouTube and NO they don’t look like blue or orange stuff on you skin. They actually blend really well into skin and add some dimension to your cheekbones

I think I’m going to cancel. I don’t need or want any of the new spoilers.

I like the brush set much better than the masks. The highlighter seems like it comes in a lot of not typical highlighter colors, which I don’t know how much I’d use. On the fence still about September.
