Pura Vida Bracelet Club June 2020 Review

Pura Vida sent this cute fold-out card that tells a little bit about their company and how they give back. This card also includes a nice thank you for your support as well as several fun summery stickers for us!

This is the second month in a row that Pura Vida Bracelet Club has just given credit instead of sending a bracelet pack due to them not being able to get our bracelet packs to subscribers. This month the credit was again $30, although it sounds like some subscribers may have received up to $60 or $90 in credits along with free shipping to pick out our own pieces. While I thought it was a great way to address the issue last month, I wasn't as thrilled to do it a second month in a row. They did assure us that the July packs would be on time and while this particular order took quite a while to get to me, my July bracelet pack was delivered right behind it, so I can confirm that they are back on track!

I did opt for something a little different this month and ended up paying $2.13 of my own money since I picked some more expensive pieces. Let's check it out!

Oval Chalcedony Ring - Retail Value $20

I have been eyeing Pura Vida's chalcedony rings for quite awhile so this month instead of trying to create my own bracelet pack with the credit, I just went for it! This ring is so pretty! It has a brass base with gold plating and a blue chalcedony oval in the center which is faceted to enhance the sparkle.

It's dainty and lightweight and adds just a touch of style. It fits well and while I really love this ring, I don't know if I would consider it a $20 ring. The gold plating is a bit cheap looking and scuffed in one very tiny spot so while I'm happy with it since I had credit to spend, the quality is a little bit disappointing considering the price point.

Rose Gold Stitched Beaded Anklet - Retail Value $12.00

Since I spent the majority of the credit on the ring, I decided to just go for something simple and I thought a delicate anklet would be perfect for the beach. Unfortunately, since this package took so long to get to me, it did not arrive in time for my beach trip, but it's still cute nonetheless! It looks like the rose gold version that I chose is no longer available, but I did link to the gold version of this one.

If you cut the strings it could easily work as a bracelet, too!

Since it's such a dainty bracelet with tiny beads on a sturdy, but tiny braid, it's comfortable to wear. It's cute and will work for most summer looks!

The Verdict: While I wasn't too excited about choosing my own Pura Vida Bracelet Club items for the second month in a row, I am happy that I got to snag a piece that I had my eye on! Overall, I think the ring and the anklet I chose are both great summer items and they suit my style well. While the ring quality is not quite what I expected, I ended up getting a good value still since I only paid $14.95 for the subscription ($17.08 if you include the extra $2.13 I paid) and I received a total value of $32.00 for both pieces.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You'll likely receive the July pack. From Pura Vida:

Orders ship within 4-5 days of purchase. Your card will be charged $14.95 + tax on the 7th of each month, and your pack will arrive around the 15th.

ACTIVE DEAL: Free Shipping on US Orders $45+. No coupon needed - just use this link.

Value Breakdown: At $14.95 for this box, you're paying about $7.48 for each piece, or $8.54 each if you consider the extra I paid!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I just wanted to thank you for your review. I waited the whole month of June without receiving anything. After reading your review I realized they had done another credit month. I reached out to c.s. who was super fast in responding and giving me a code to go shopping. I would’ve still been twiddling my thumbs waiting if not for your review 🙂 and amazing customer service (thanks Puravida)

Brandi, I think this is what is in the PV Jewelry Club, not the Bracelet Club. I could be mistaken though.😉

Hi Ashley, Gaby below is correct! My selections did look more like a jewelry box though! 🙂

Brandi states in the beginning of her post that she was giving credit to use for the bracelet club.

I was not emailed any credit at all. I only realized that I was missing the June packet when I checked my account. Emailed the customer service and was sent the $30 credit.
