Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

FYI, COVID-19 Update:

Due to health and safety measures we are taking to protect our employees, orders may be delayed. We appreciate your patience!

Dia & Co June 2020 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say!

Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! I love her styling suggestions for the Kasi dress. I truly enjoy these personal correspondences from her and I am excited to see what she sent my way-- her descriptions got me rather intrigued!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $291. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $197.50! The savings would be $93.50 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That covers almost the entire charge for both jumpsuits!

Jamie Jumpsuit by Gilli in Purple, Size 2x — Retail Value $49

I was scouring the Dia & Co site for cute pieces when I saw this killer jumpsuit. I was torn between whether I preferred the purple or the olive green when a lightning bolt (the figurative kind, I am a-okay, my friends!) hit me-- why not both? It is a pandemic, so why not treat yourself, right? I also was intrigued about being able to give you guys an idea of the fit difference between the 2x in purple and the 3x olive green version. I must say, there are really only slight differences in the fit. The purple 2x is slightly more snug in the belly and legs than its olive green counterpart in the next size up. The material is a bit slinky and has ample stretch. I have found myself more drawn to pieces in different hues of purple, so I figured a purple jumpsuit is a necessary addition to my already substantial wardrobe. I love this piece because you could easily wear it on a cooler summer day or in the fall and winter months with layers. I decided to style the jumpsuit with warm and joyful shades: retro pink and yellow flower power earrings from Miss60sShop on Etsy, yellow glitter glasses from Wherelight.com, and some translucent orange jelly flats to tie in the vintage vibes. I can see wearing this in cooler months with a faux leather biker jacket, white booties, and a leopard print beret. This would also look fantastic in the office (do those still exist in 2020?) with gold pointy-toe heels and a matching gold statement necklace. The styling is endless with this beautiful piece!

Jamie Jumpsuit by Gilli in Olive Green, Size 2x — Retail Value $49

Olive green anything, how I love thee! Like I said before, I truly wasn't sure which color jumpsuit to select. I am indecisive and like both, so I still struggle to tell you which I prefer! However, oddly, I do think I prefer the fit of the 2x a slight bit more than the 3x. I thought I would prefer this piece since it's roomier and it would be less of a hassle to get on and off, but with the latter, it served the same issues I have with all jumpsuits. There is no graceful way to ease in and out of a jumpsuit, at least for me, so the larger size wasn't any easier to get in or remove. Regardless, I love this piece and its purple sister equally. I absolutely love how olive green looks with gold accents, so I decided to go buck wild accessorizing this outfit! I went with gigantic glitter scorpion earrings by Marina Fini, black cat eyes from Wherelight.com, and my favorite gold cowboy booties from my January ShoeDazzle review. If you are looking for a less flashy pairing, might I suggest wearing this jumpsuit with some bejeweled sandals, oversized sunglasses, and a large-brimmed hat for a warm summer look to casually slay the Gods and Goddesses with? This also would look fantastic with black pointy high heels and a black statement necklace for an incredibly chic look!

Kasi Belted Shirt Dress by Rafaella, Size 2x — Listed Value $55

When I opened and unboxed this month's Dia & Co package, I could not help but squeal out loud upon seeing this lovely dress! I am a sucker for a shirt dress; I love the cut and find them to be so timeless and classic. The blue and fuchsia belt and chain print have a retro posh vibe that I adore. My photographer (AKA my cousin... from a social distance) even approved of this number. She actually said it was her favorite, so kudos to my stylist, Kristin S.! I love the fabric of this piece; it has loads of stretch, but the cut is perfect and there is no gapping at the chest! Wear this dress with black high heels, black sunglasses, and a tan trench coat to truly bring the house down!

Lyra Belted Fit & Flare Dress by City Chic, Size XL — Listed Value $69

A few months ago, I reviewed a City Chic jumpsuit for my Jayne Mansfield-themed Stitch Fix review. I absolutely loved the style of that piece, especially the bodice and the belt that cinched in the piece so well. When I noticed a similarly cut version in this polka dot fabric as a dress-- well, I had to request it for my Dia & Co box! This dress is so stunning! This A-line cut is flattering and classic! I love that it is has a matching belt-- it is a special touch that adds definition at the waist. I styled this dress with black and white flower power earrings from Laser Kitten as well as my favorite black jelly flats. This dress is perfect for a summer picnic or wedding, but could translate into fall with cute Oxfords or saddle shoes and a cardigan for a cute fall Bobby soxer/retro pin-up girl look!

Bergen Skinny Jeans in Dark Wash by Curve Appeal, Size 22 — Retail Value $69

I love a good dark indigo or black rinse skinny leg jean, and I definitely love these! I usually avoid any distressed styles, but I actually like the little mark at the knee. These fit wonderfully and have a fantastic high rise. I also feel like that it picked up my big ol' dupa in the back as well! These jeans will be a staple in my wardrobe whether paired with my favorite band T-shirt or a button-down blouse. I decided to style the jeans with a short-sleeved hot pink mohair sweater, chunky vinyl flower power heels, and oversized retro baby pink sunglasses from Wherelight.com. I would have totally rocked this ensemble in the late '90s/early '00s with multicolored baby butterfly clips and slathered in glitter gel from head to toe-- yes! Just need the iciest pink or golden copper Revlon Street Wear lipstick to complete the look!

Verdict: Dia & Co slayed it again! I love that Dia & Co offers the option to pick out three of the five pieces in your styling box, and I take advantage of it quite often! I adore the items I selected for myself this month, but equally love what my stylist, Kristen S., picked out for me! She killed it! I can't suggest enough to provide feedback on each box to your stylist as well as creating a Pinterest board. Doing both of these allows you to create a dream board of sorts for your stylist to use as inspiration. If you aren't keen on getting a styling box, that's okay-- Dia & Co offers other options for you! You can shop directly on the site and they even offer an activewear box too (which is great for quarantine loungewear, I must say!).  I look forward to seeing what comes my way from Dia & Co each month, especially during these times-- it has been a silver lining! I miss going shopping at stores, but with Dia & Co I get the malls brought directly to my doorstep! I wonder if this month's box will be topped by what I get in July-- I can't wait to see, can you?

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $291. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $197.50 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 30% discount.

That City Chic polka dot dress is everything on you!

I applaud you if you can wear a jumpsuit like that – I drink lots of water during the day so that wouldn’t work for me and that style looks particularly challenging…

Thank you so much, Maddie in PA! Yeah, that is an issue I face with jumpsuits. I may be a glutton for punishment, but I wear them anyhow periodically. Not so much now since I am at home, but I guess that would make more sense, huh?

Revlon Street Wear! I had forgotten all about it.

This was a great box. The olive jumpsuit fits you really well and looks great with your red hair.

I got the DIA box in june too. I loved everything they sent. Their Jean’s are so comfortable. I got a cute plaid dress that looked exactly like one I had in the 90s. I love love love the Polk a dot dress you got! I feel like they styled me better than stitch fix has.

Amber, I am so glad you had such a great experience with Dia & Co! I love the ability to select items, but the stylists generally do a wonderful job picking out things as well! I enjoy both boxes for different reasons for sure!

Thank you, Shari! I love those shoes, but haven’t gotten much wear from them due to the Pandemic. I figured I better at least get to wear them for pictures! haha

I like every single item that you are wearing. This is the most flattering subscription that I’ve seen, in my opinion. To me, it looks like you’ve lost 20 lbs or more in every outfit. Honestly.

IMO…
Definite yes to the purple jumpsuit and the Lyra Belted Fit & Flare Dress by City Chic.
I would return all of the other pieces (they don’t grab attention like the aforementioned two pieces).
Congrats on discovering two items that are stunning as well as flattering.

Awe thanks, Rose! I am pretty pleased with the selections. But I must agree the purple jumpsuit and City Chic dress are pretty fantastic!
