I get a bit aggravated when it comes time for Add-ons and some of the items are from the box we’re receiving that month. There are a few items from July Base and Premium listed. Technically, doesn’t that bring down the price point of the box? Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great deal for the monthly subscription price. Just don’t promise one price point and then turn right around the exact same month, and before people have even received the product, and sell an item in the Add-ons that’s listed as being a $135.00 but you’re selling for $12.00. At least wait a couple of months.

I’ve unsubscribed from all emails since I was getting so many yesterday. I received one again today with New Boxycharm News On My Subscription Addiction! With a geekfuel box picture. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon otherwise I won’t be signed up to receive any emails again.

Was anyone able to get the tony molly whale eye cream? Just curious I really wanted it so i got on right when add ons opened and I guess it had already sold out.

I had 2 in my cart, went to checkout and they had already sold out. So they were available, just went quickly.
Also, people found a loophole last month to get to certain add ons and a bunch of people did it today, hours before add ons opened, so that could be the reason as well maybe?

It’s their patented bait and switch. I had same experience. As I was scrolling and shopping, items would disappear no matter which way I filtered. There was nothing in the ‘sold out’, so that wasn’t the issue. BC is pulling more shady tactics. I don’t like it.

I want to know the answer to this too! The second Add-ons were live I was on the site and immediately searched/filtered Tony Moly which pulled up only one result: the charcoal eye masks. I happily bought them and a few other things (after scrolling through the entire Add-ons store offerings) but when I went back a few hours later to maybe get a couple more products I noticed now that they featured the Tony Moly whale eye cream and the toner. When did this happen? Or was it never available and just a ploy of some kind?? There are some additional items by other brands that I never saw at all when initially shopping but magically appeared in the sold out section.

I managed to snag a PMD and a Dr. Brandt cleanser. I had a $12 credit for getting the incorrect palette last month, so all total it cost me $12 plus tax. I pleased with that!

I found some nice inexpensive products for my niece’s upcoming birthday. I’m picking from the repeats of some of my boxes that I love. The DC celestial palette, Too Face Sugar Peach, etc. I think those are less desirable to current charmers and makes me feel less bad about grabbing a few for gifts.

Make sure you examine the Violet Voss palettes carefully as soon as you receive them. I’ve seen photos + videos from people who got them in the Boxy Pop-up, & there was what appeared to be water damage to some of the palettes, & even potentially mold in one case.

So I’m giving this months add ons one last chance. Last month I ordered a bunch of stuff. I never received two of the items and finally after a month I was told they didnt have the items in stock anymore and I was being refunded. Plus my premium box I ended up getting a repeat. So they gave me a 12$ coupon code for add ons. One of my missing add ons was the hourglass highlight stick so i was surprised to see them again this time around. I’ve got my fingers crossed I actually receive it this time. 😁

Same! I am still waiting for the add-ons I ordered from last month. Still waiting for them to turn our life and yet it’s here in the add-ons.

Just more of the same, and can get those deals on any site if you use coupons/cashback apps. Gotta hand it to Ipsy on this one as their add ons win this round. Also Boxycharm for August looks repetitive.
