Not sure where my comment went, so sorry if this is a double post.

Other companies are doing these “looks like way more than it is” photos and I hate it too. Sephora is terrible about it lately — they show a product plus its box plus sometimes its lid or cap separately, and any included applicator like a brush. Often these are shown in kits where there are, say, four or five actual products, but with all the separate packaging pieces it looks like so much more. All we can do is be careful shoppers.

This will be my third and last bag from So Susan. I mostly like what I’ve received but overall there’s too much glitter/shimmer. And this concealer palette, ugh. I’ll probably only be able to use a couple of the shades. What a waste.

Might subscribe just for the bag. My boyfriend gets most of my Ipsy bags–he uses them for bolts or whatever in the garage. He is obsessed with flamingos all of a sudden.

I wish this included one of their eyeshadow palettes instead of a concealer palette though. What is the purpose of so many concealer shades/how could this be used?

I absolutely love the idea that there’s a guy working in a garage keeping his tools in Ipsy makeup bags. He must either have a great sense of humor or be insanely practical. Either way, sounds like a catch!

I agree completely!

I like the bag this month, though I still miss the ones with quotes.

I will say, though, that I do not like how they include each product’s package in the photo and space them all out. It always looks like there are more items than there are.

A lot of companies do this now. I’ve noticed Sephora, when they have bags of several products, show each product and its box and sometimes even its lid or cap separately. It’s all to make it look like more than it is — marketing.

This will be my third bag of a 3-month So Susan sub, and I’m cancelling. I mostly like what I’ve gotten so far, but overall there’s too much glitter & shimmer for my tastes. And this concealer palette, ugh. Most of the colors will just go to waste.

The nouns are missing from your notation of the four items. WHAT is Supernova, an eyeshadow? WHAT is Jelly Juice, a lipstick? WHAT is Covert Canvas, a concealer palette? WHAT is Dream Maker, a highlighter?

Thank you for saying what I was thinking. What is what? Not that helpful and I also agree that the packaging in the pictures is a no go for me. It does make it look like you are getting a lot more than you do.
