Pura Vida Jewelry Club "The Daybreak Set" June 2020 Review

Pura Vida Jewelry Club has recently changed up their packaging. This little foldout card shares their story and details how they give back by creating full-time jobs for artisans worldwide.

Inside the pocket of the card was a smaller card welcoming us to the club along with a beautiful mermaid sticker.

Your jewelry comes in little dustbags each month which are perfect for storing your jewelry in. These are a bit different than the ones that come in their bracelet club pack. These are a little smoother and sleeker in my opinion.

Sunrise Coin Pendant Necklace

I always love silver and turquoise together and it seems that they include this combination pretty frequently. This sunrise pendant is really fun with the coin pendant and the little turquoise accent. I do have my concerns about this chain though. While I love the look of it (sorry, I don't know what it's called!), I have experienced some serious hair snags from this style of chain in the past, but hopefully, the quality is a little better and I won't have an issue. So far, so good, at least! This necklace measures about 16 inches at the smallest setting and goes up to about 19 inches at the longest.

I like to wear it on the second to last setting.

Enamel Chain Choker

This chain is so delicate, dainty, and unique! It's really fun and since I am not a big choker fan, I love that there is more than one option for lengths so that I can wear it a bit longer and more comfortably. The longest setting is only about 17 inches and the smallest is about 14. I am most comfortable with it at its longest.

Here is the chain by itself. It's really so small and adds just a bit of an accent. I feel like it will be a nice necklace for the beach!

Here you can see the necklaces complement one another well. Although, I feel like the pendant has a bit more blue to it than the choker.

Here I have them on together. I tested out two different settings for the pendant necklace. If I wear them both on my preferred setting, the pendant necklace is about an inch longer than the choker and I think it looks great dropped down just a little bit lower!

The Verdict: I thought that this month's Pura Vida Jewelry Club set was a fun one! The silver and turquoise combination always feels beachy and summery to me, and I love the idea of sending necklaces that can be layered and worn together. While the pendant is cute, I actually really dig the choker and how dainty and unique it is! This was another fun set for $19.95 plus free shipping!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!
