  1. Slightly OT, but Sephora currently has their Beachy Waves Sea Spray Collection Favorites Kit on sale right now for $12 (down from $24; use code FREESHIP for free shipping). The kit includes:

    – 1 oz/ 40 mL Bumble and bumble Surf Foam Spray Blow Dry
    – 1.7 oz/50 mL Ouai Wave Spray
    – 2 oz/ 60 mL Reverie Mare Mediterranean Sea Mist
    – 2.4 oz/ 75 mL Verb Sea Spray

As of this posting, the kit is still available.

  2. Is this really a new set? Correct me if I am wrong.

I distinctly remember that most of these fragrances were offered last year in a collection called Sephora Favorites Clean Fragrance Sampler, It was $65 and I remember going Sephora and smelling them because I was trying to decide if I wanted to spend that much money on perfumes I wasn’t sure of. You could get a full size spray of a perfume by redeeming the certificate.

MSA had a post on it on June 4,2019. The only difference is the Clean perfume sample- Instead of the Clean Reserve Skin, this one has the Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar. I guess that it is newish because of the one new perfume and you get a travel spray with the certificate but I wish that they had included different perfumes.

    • You’re right in that this is a “new” set because this one offers travel sized perfumes instead of full size perfumes like last year’s set. I’m personally really excited this one came out, because there were more than one I wanted to get since I pretty much loved them all (lol), plus I actually gifted the full size perfume from last year’s kit as a Christmas gift, so this time, this one’s mine! 🙂 But I totally get wanting new scents to have been featured. Hopefully, they’ll make these clean fragrance sets a regular thing like their other scent favorite kits. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the heads up…I caved and purchased this…at least 50% of perfume is an immediate no for me and about half of the remaining give me headaches several hours later…so sampling ahead of time is mandatory…the coupon for a $25-30 Travel spray or rollerball seals the deal! I have purchased sets where I used the coupon for one that was only ok…maybe in the future I should regift It to a friend if I am not excited about any of them…

Question: when I go into Sephora what’s the trick to getting free samples vials…do I just need to be more bold and ask directly…

    • I think so 🙂 At least at all of the Sephoras’ I’ve gone to I’ve never seen any pre-made samples lying around for the taking. On a rare occasion, I have been offered some upon checkout, but they were store made samples. They may even have pre-made samples by the company at checkout, but I’m sure you’d need to ask for them since samples at the checkout are usually out of sight. I’ve asked for perfume samples before, and each time they’ve always been more than happy to make one up for me. 🙂

      • Thanks…i just keep hearing people complain that these samples are free but i have never gotten one except online..
But maybe I am too timid or afraid of sounding…greedy, cheap??? Idk…lol…

  4. I love these clean fragrance sets. I was going to hold out, but then saw a point perk I really wanted, so I bit. 🙂

  5. So irritating not to be able to use the free voucher online. I live in a small mountain town where no Sephora is close. Just gripes me.

  6. Is it just me or is $25 a bit high for sample size viles? Just last week I was able to get 4 sample perfumes from Sephora for 10.60 with free ship. I bought the Hello bag for $10.60. That came with the Viktor Ralph flower balm, add two free samples which I chose Prada Candy and Juliet not a perfume and had 100 points in which I chose TOCCA Gia…..
not to mention last time I bought a perfume kit for $25 it was from Birchbox and it was travel size perfumes with one full-size perfume.

    • You get a full-sized roller ball of your choice. It’s to try the scents and decide which you like best. The roller balls are $25-$30 so it’s not the best value, but still decent for such good brands.

  7. I just ordered this set! I’m so happy, there are a couple of fragrances included that I really wanted to try out. I used the code, “freeship”, and was able to have the usual standard shipping rate eliminated, so there’s a great bonus too. I did try to include my free birthday gifts, but at the checkout it made me remove it. The reason stated was that I had already redeemed this, but I haven’t. I did have the item in my cart for a couple of weeks, but just now placed the order. Maybe I waited too long? I’m not sure what happened. If the Sephora ever opens up in my area, NY, I’ll try to go to the store in person and ask. No worries, though. Just happy to be able to order on line.

  8. The rollerballs are full size rollerballs. They range in price from 28-30 each so its a good deal to try them all out first.

  9. The voucher will not give you a full size perfume as it says. You will get a travel version which is labeled on their site as mini. Probably still a good value, but definitely misleading.

    • I agree. I full sized mini or travel is a misleading phrase.

      • I think they mean full size in that it is a retail item, not a free sample size vial. You get a handful of sample vials to try and then you can choose your favorite.

    • It’s very misleading – and not everyone is into rollerballs (I’m certainly not). Very disappointing from a company that is certainly not hurting financially. Anyway Sephora annoys me on a regular basis with their chintzy points program. I purchase a lot less from them than I used to, though I always pick up my birthday gift (it’s the least they can do, IMHO, considering how much money I’ve dropped there over the years).
