LUXSB is a fragrance subscription box for men and women (formerly known as Luxury Scent Box). Each month you will receive 9 mL (about 0.3 fl oz) of a designer fragrance. You can accept the fragrance of the month, you can choose scents based on a short profile survey, or you can just build a calendar of scents on your own.
There are two subscription options:
- The Standard Plan for $15 a month and includes one 9 mL travel spray
- The Premium Plan for $20 a month and includes one 9 mL travel spray and access to premium items
LUXSB also gives active members the option to upgrade your subscription to the Duo plan, which includes one case and two premium or non-premium perfumes per month.

I'Khana by Source Adage - Estimated Value $28.80 (Buy a full-size 50 mL bottle for $160)
I'll say right up front that I'm really happy about this one on several levels:
1. This is a new perfumer for me. Their scents have names in various indigenous languages (this one is from Choctaw) and are inspired by geographical locations, which I think is fun. I'm seriously considering ordering this discovery set to try a few more. (OK, they were having a sale and there was free shipping on samples so I did just buy it while in the middle of writing this review.)
2. The value is great. This is one of the better values I've seen from a perfume subscription in some time, it's like two months of the monthly subscription cost.
3. The fragrance itself is right up my alley. Notes include grapefruit, lime, and mandarin, as well as pink peppercorn, coconut, cardamom, and musk. Grapefruit is my favorite citrus note and this one is fairly musky as well (it's unisex, as my preferred fragrances tend to be). The pink peppercorn and cardamom are nice as well -- I am a fan of spicy scents, in general. Overall, the blend works well. The sillage was fairly strong (my cats didn't want treats from me after I put this on...) although the longevity was maybe a little shorter than expected.
Like with some of the other fragrance subscriptions, you’ll receive purse-sized holders for your fragrances. These are slightly larger than the ones from Scentbird or Scent Box. How often you get a new holder depends on your subscription plan.
Verdict: The estimated value of my fragrance this month is $28.80. This is a really good value but also I am happy with the fragrance. LUXSB is probably the best perfume subscription for my personal tastes as far as their scents of the month lining up with what I'm looking for and like in a fragrance. Others will have hits and misses (again, according to my personal taste) but LUXSB has consistently for the past few months been wonderful for me. If you like unisex fragrances and/or are not such a fan of florals, and if you like discovering new fragrance brands, this may be a good subscription to check out.

Value Breakdown: This subscription is $15/monthly and this month, I received $28.80 worth of fragrance (but again, this is highly variable based on what scent you choose).
