I was wondering if anyone has cancelled their beauty box subscription before their box has shipped and whether they still received their box. Also, what do you click on in your account to cancel? The only option I see is to click Prepaid Settings then change the Auto Renew to No, but then I get a message stating my subscription will be removed if I click OK. Since I haven’t received shipping for my May box (which I don’t anticipate to receive until the 22nd) I wasn’t sure if that would cancel my box.
I was thinking of signing up for another 3-month sub with this discount, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that yet until I can successfully cancel my current 3-month sub. Per their FAQ’s 3-month subs are renewed once they’ve “expired”, but I’m not sure if that means it’s expired right when the last box has been generated in my account (which seems to coincide with their 22nd date for renewing monthly subs).
Basically, I’m a bit weary to cancel right now since I haven’t received shipping for my final May box, and I don’t know if they’re like Allure where if you cancel before your box ships they won’t sent it to you despite having paid for it…. and I don’t want to wait too long until they generate my final box on the 22nd then automatically bill me again for a 3-month sub. I’m thinking I’d rather deal with tracking down my final box through them then trying to get a refund, but I thought I’d ask any experienced folks on here how to cancel the beauty box, and if it’s okay to do so prior to my final box shipping. Thanks!

Hi Luna,
For what it’s worth I was on a month to month subscription and wanted to take advantage of this deal. I knew it was a risk but it was too good to pass up. I used the cancel order button in the manage account menu to cancel my subscription. Fortunately, that still showed my May box as paid in the queue as it did before.
Then I started a new subscription using the coupon, hoping it would not start by giving me another May box. Again I was lucky as my account shows my first box as June. So I think it worked! But please don’t hold me responsible if it doesn’t work out that way for you, it could have been a rare stroke of luck for me.

rebeccad, after reading your comment it convinced me to do a 6-month sub rather than a 3-month 🙂 That is a great deal, and I’ve loved the beauty boxes I’ve received so far, so I feel pretty good about locking myself in for another 6 months 🙂

Thank you for your help TNTriathlete! 🙂 I would never dream of blaming you if it doesn’t work. I take full responsibility of all my sub box actions 😀 I decided to go ahead and cancel, and while it did remove my subscription, and my account says I no longer have any active subscriptions, my order history does still show one “order” as being unfulfilled in addition to the new sub I recently purchased, so I think all is good! 🙂 This is good to know for when their BF discount comes around. Come on 30% off! 😀

I am trying to reply to Connie but for some reason there is no reply button under your post, at least on my tablet. Anyway, if you see this, I went ahead and did a 6 month subscription. It came out to around 22 dollars a month which seemed reasonable so I wanted to lock that rate in for six months. This subscription has things I don’t see everywhere else and especially after what Luna said about being able to skip months, I couldn’t resist! It will be a nice treat to look forward to.

be careful with this box..i ordered my may beauty box on the 5th…still nothing..and they don’t e-mail great…I had to e-mail them about my order..they said it may ship on the 20th..still nothing as of today…

It looks like it. Under Manage Subscriptions there’s an option to look at Upcoming Orders. When I click that it lists future months boxes (my list goes out to November even though May is my last box) expected to generate on the 22nd of each month, and next to each order there’s a link to Skip Order.
