Savage X Fenty VIP Membership Review April 2020

Savage X Fenty
3.8 overall rating
4 Ratings | 3 Reviews

Rihanna's Savage X Fenty lingerie line offers an Xtra VIP membership (that works a lot like Fabletics and ShoeDazzle) which gives you access to exclusive limited-edition sets as well as big discounts and first dibs on everything for $49.95/month. New pieces are added to their size-and-skin-tone-inclusive catalog monthly, which features a wide gamut from comfy everyday items to super sexy specialty lingerie. You have the choice to shop for something new, skip the month to avoid a charge, or have the $49.95 membership fee saved to your account to use in the future.

Savage X Fenty Xtra VIP Membership Review - April 2020

The only paperwork that comes with Savage X Fenty is a packing list and their return/exchange policy.

Flock U Up Corset, size large - Retail Value $96.00/VIP Member Price $74.00

When I first saw that this month's set had a corset, I was a little intimidated. I've never worn a corset before and the lacing on the back of this deep purple/navy colored number looked... complicated to get into. As luck would have it, when it arrived it was already laced up and also happens to have a zipper at the side so that I could get into it without having to undo the whole thing. Since I normally wear a large in bralettes, I got the same in this and it worked out perfectly. The boning in this helped keep it up, maintain its shape, and actually gave me quite a bit of cleavage which is new for me. The corset is surprisingly comfortable to wear and I didn't need any help getting it on my body. The front has an overlay of flocked lace that has a "posing women" pattern that I do find a little corny, but it's not super readable when on. The back panels also have a stretchy lace that allows it to easily come on and off. All in all- I was pleased with this one!

Flock U Up High-Waist Bikini, size large - Retail Value $30.00/VIP Member Price $24.00

The matching high-waist bikini has the same flocked lace pattern and color. I wish the pattern was a little more classic like floral or some other delicate pattern that wasn't outlines of women, but in all honesty, I don't think anyone is noticing it very much. My normal size large fit well and when accompanied the corset, really looked sexy and polished.

The Verdict: This month's Savage X Fenty Xtra VIP Box only had two items but still had quite a high value. I was surprised to not see a companion accessory or bonus item this month, but truth be told I'm mainly here for the lingerie. These two pieces would have cost $126 if purchased at retail but with the Xtra VIP Membership, it was only $59.95 which is over a 50% discount. If you love getting a new adventurous lingerie set in the mail each month, this subscription is the way to go and push yourself a little out of your comfort zone.

To Wrap Up:

Can I get these pieces if I sign up today? This VIP Box is gone, but some of the pieces are still available to purchase separately in the shop.

Value Breakdown: This Xtra VIP Box has a retail value of $126.00, but I purchased it at the VIP Price of just $59.95, which is over a 52% discount.

Can someone please tell me how to say the name of this sub? I keep reading it as Savage ex Fenty, but I feel like that’s not right.

Diana

Savage ex Fenty is the correct way to say it.

This was the first thing that I have ever liked in the reviews for this box until the “posing ladies ” were pointed out. Then it was right back to sleazy. Why oh why?!

Ks

How is outlines of women sleazy?
If anything, they look a bit cartoonish. More delicate or detailed outlines would look a lot nicer.

When I see outlines of women like that I think of the stereotypical men on motorcycles with leather jackets and unruly beards and young women hanging off them for decoration. In that sense it’s sorta sleazy? Not sure where that image comes from though

Annabelle

Oh man. That is some bad patterning.
I’d honestly prefer to get lingerie with zebras and windows on it than that.
Who wants a female figure on you, while you’re flaunting your figure? That’s not sexy. At least in my opinion. Just looks a bit cheap..

I don’t know a woman in the world that would intentionally pick that design instead of flowers or anything else. 😬

Ks

Maybe not that design specifically but I’m pretty sick of flowers. They’re very boring. I wish more companies would put daring sexy designs on lingerie.

Mary

But if Rihanna says it’s sexy, it must be!! 😉

Ashley

This set looks so tacky and cheap.

Someone has to say it.
That print is disastrous.
If I wear a corset, it won’t have naked ladies it.

Tat, I am cracking up laughing. Thank you.

I am so confused. How does this membership work? Is the Xtra VIP Box $59 instead of the $49.95 membership?

I skipped this month, around the end of April, to avoid being charged for May’s Xtra VIP Box, because I am confused how this subscription works. Thank goodness I skipped. It would be gorgeous without the ladies. It’s like those mud flaps on 18 wheelers. Anyway, what day of the month is the reveal? Do you pay prior to the reveal or after the reveal? Can someone just explain it? I’m considering just canceling it at this point. I already have enough lingerie to clothe (unclothe) most of Bourbon St.

H, I’ve been a member for maybe 6 months and pretty much I feel the membership is just for the discount. They never send you anything you dont choose, just charge you if you dont skip or shop. I’ve made 3 purchases since joining. To call this a subscription is kind of a misnomer. That being said, I do love it being a bigger gal and a lot of their VIP sets (not ususally the featured one) are a good deal considering I pay $50 for a cute, plus size bra elsewhere and can sometimes get two bras plus undies for that price from Fenty. Again, i look at the membership as a discount as long as you pay attention to skip so you wont be charged. The Extra VIP sets are often more expensive than the membership, so thats not unusual, and I believe the reveals always happen on the first day of the month.

MUD FLAPS!
Perfect. Just perfect.
And there might be a copyright problem. There is some sort German porn company, whose name starts with M.
Yup.
The symbol for the firm is a capital M, consisting of two naked ladies, back to back, with their knees.
