Does anyone know of any other good sun care Kits that are available? Or a favorite face spf?
TIA ❤️

I bought one! Signed up for the 15% off code with email & saved $5.

I’ve heard good things about Elta MD lately, & I remember really liking the sample of MD Solar Sciences that I tried before (if it’s as good as I remember, I might bite the bullet & pay full price, instead of continuing to mess around with any more sunscreen samples).

(… probably not, tho. I love sunscreen samples!)

Hello.Does anyone know this Elta MD sunscreen in a spray can?

Wow. I’m surprised at the level of scorn this comment generated. Mindful exposure to sunlight (such as during early morning) does have health benefits, the most wonderful being natural Vitamin D synthesis. Vitamin D is a low key cure-all and these days many are deficient.

I’m also surprised at the call to “police comments.” Better to let people think for themselves and make their own decisions. And, if someone is here, online, reading comments surely they can do their own research. Chill people.

I’m more worried about the spreading of the false statement about sunscreen affecting Vitamin D absorption. This “myth” actually causes skin cancer in uninformed people. Please note actual scientific on from place like the Skin Cancer Foundation or the National Institute of Health to get information that have detailed information on this specific topic.

Unfortunately, you have too much faith in people knowing how to do quality research. We can all see based on how people are acting with the “freedom protests” that MANY people don’t believe in science and facts

I don’t think anyone here doubts the virtues of sunlight and Vit D. We’re objecting to her claim that sunlight will kill offthe new coronavirus. Making patently false medical claims is dangerous, whether they be this or injecting disinfectant. In my opinion, this isn’t a matter of free speech; it’s a matter of health and safety.

MSA, can you please remove comments like this: “The sun will kill off the virus” that are clearly spreading medical misinformation that is potentially dangerous to our health? Please be more vigilant about policing comments that are spouting dangerous information that is not supported by research or medical professionals!

Agree 100%. Also, for those with melanoma or other skin cancer, no sun is the best option.

Thank you, Calli, for commenting. I was going to, but I wasn’t sure if I would get backlash from flat earthers.

I agree, this comment is dangerous. Sun block does not only prevent wrinkles, skin cancer is a real threat that needs to be take seriously.

I agree 100%.

Chris

I agree, that statement is just silly and misinformed.

I bought one. Both of the full sizes are mineral sunscreens with no alcohol which is why i bit. The target box had a sunscreen stick with the second ingredient as alcohol. I bought up 3 but then cancelled after i investigated. I wish i could have kept 2 instead of cqncelling all, but oh well. These are higher quality face sunscreens for sure.

I bought two but apparently as they have shipped as of this morning I can’t cancel, but it looks like I can return and I think I’ll bite on this instead.

Ami

Good decision imo

Steph

I bought one. I needed some EltaMD and was getting ready to order some so perfect timing. I can’t wait to try the Oribe Power drops.

I just bought the Target box and a set from Ipsy that included a sunscreen serum. The LRP Anthelios Ultra-Light Sunscreen Fluid is the closet that I currently have to an HG. If that would have been the full size, I might have grabbed it.

Thanks, I’ll go order one.

No more chemical sunscreens for me. So bad for you. The full-size item uses octinoxate. Pass.

Very nice, but I bought two of Target’s sunscreen queen boxes yesterday, so I’m set for the summer.

Laura

This is like getting several samples free when buying the full size Elta MD which would be the same price for just that.

Did anyone else ever get a burning sensation on their face after putting on that cucumber gel mask from Peter Thomas Roth? And I hadn’t even been outside that day. I had to wash it off pronto, and it still stung for hours. My skin almost never has a sensitivity reaction to the hundreds of brands I’ve slathered on it over my sub box years.

No, I use it quite frequently. And I have sensitive skin.

I’m glad you said something! I was going to get this for someone with roscea as a gift. The sunscreen says for sensitive skin too. Thanks!

I have rosacea and enjoy using the PTR cucumber mask! It feels cooling when you put it on and it takes some of the red out of my cheeks. I have no reaction when I use it.

Melissa

This looks like a good box for sunscreen. I have an overload of sunscreen or I would be ordering! I have the eltamd and it’s worth it for that!
