Perhaps I’m in the minority here but the choices are very underwhelming for June.I choose skincare each month and while Tula is a great brand that gel cooling stick is not something I’m thrilled about getting. If you want a product that does the same and you didn’t choose it then look at the Saem hydrating stick on Amazon. It works great and it’s only $8.99. Plus it’s an adorable polar bear. I keep mine in the refrigerator and it works wonders for puffy eyes and dark circles. Physicians Formula also has a cucumber and bamboo eye depuffer cooling stick and I think I paid $5.99 on Amazon. I’ve also seen it at TJMAXX for $3.00 (Boy, do I miss TJMAXX!)

I was also underwhelmed and chose the Tula. I’ve never tried the cooling sticks, but thanks so much for these optional ideas!! I am also really missing T.J. Maxx!!! (Lush and Sephora are greatly missed as well:()

This box is not shaping up to be a good one. There are no products at the moment that say Luxe to me. The choices are pretty basic and boring. At this point I cant justify the 50.00. If they are having issues sourcing products due to COVID19, they should just admit it and reduce the price for now – rather than undermine their own integrity by shipping sub par boxes containing things like synthetic brushes they claim are worth $90 (insulting). Just a thought.

Amen! Thanks agree with your entire comment. I’m especially glad to hear someone call them out for that ridiculous RV for those TWO brushes. It’s not only insulting to our intelligence, it’s insulting to claim one item that only some people get is worth $90 while others get a product with an RV of $20 or less. How is that acceptable? The ONLY reason I’m not unsubscribing from Premium yet is for the sleeping mask and only because it’s been confirmed by several sources I’ve found to be pretty dependable that everyone will get it.
I’d like to think their recent lackluster boxes are related to the pandemic but I kind of doubt it. I just don’t think they really care anymore, especially after the crap base box I got today. TWO brown lip glosses in one box. I was confused when I saw two lip glosses but happy that at least one was from Jouer. I guess I was picturing the lovely pink shade from all the preview pics. Instead I got a maroon brown and the other gloss was a nudish brown, neither of which I can wear. I know they don’t use our profiles so the fact that I have pink selected doesn’t matter but why must they always send me dark purple, brown, and the occasional nude that’s always warm? I think they have finally shown me too many times in too many ways that they simply do not care about customer satisfaction at all. For every customer they lose there’s another one waiting in the wings or on a waitlist for an additional box. Honestly I think the main reason I’ve stuck around so long is the pop up sales. But they get me in trouble because I inevitably overspend, especially because it’s so frenzied trying to scroll through tons of items that distract you from looking for the ones you really need and check out before they sell out if so many things.then going back again to get the other stuff that’s less important and rushing again. I think that pressure just adds to my impulsive FOMO related reckless spending. It’s not going to be easy to unsubscribe completely because of such a long history (7+ years!) and the great boxes I did get for so many years that did wonders for building my makeup collection. But between already having so many untouched products, the pathetic variants I keep getting month after month and the shameful customer service I’ve received in the past I think it’s time.

Ok so I emailed boxy charm and told them that I could not get in to choose until later in the day and there were no choices for Boxyluxe. Their response was they took it down and would have it up as soon as possible so is that for this month or another month

I got an email to make my choice, and when I went on to make my selections, half the 1st choice were gone, and all but 1 of the 2nd choice were gone… Can it still be called a choice if there’s only one thing to choose from??

I was able to choose luxe yesterday (Monday) even though I was on the waitlist. I got off the waitlist because I didn’t like the luxe choices and the other stuff in base box called to me more, so I then made my choice (Monday) for base box. I was able to do so because I am also subbed to premium, despite cancelling the luxe waitlist queue, otherwise base box choice wasn’t for non premium/luxe subbers/waitlisters until Tuesday. They give a one up to the premium/luxe now by letting them get to pick their choices a day earlier.
It’s only open to those subscribed to Luxe & Premium right now (though not for the premium box; just the base box).

change Your billing info so that You can’t be charged. they’ll send You an email letting you know there was an error & to update so that You can get the current box in time. then correct it after it’s too late, but before next months box. i think they’ll cancel your account if they attempt to charge You 2 months in a row & are unsuccessful.

Not true! They will make several attempts to bill but if unsuccessful after so many times you will be terminated and have to subscribe all over again! Possibly waitlisted too! The base box is the only box they will continuously bill for until they can get payment. Upgrades doesn’t work the same!!

In the 9-10am range. I read noon EST earlier this week, & I got into choice at just after 9:30 this morning (I’m also PST). But my impression is that Boxy isn’t as predictably regular as Ipsy re: when choice/ad-ons/etc open up.

I selected my choice items and saw the confirmation page where it says I will receive an email confirmation by the 15th. I then went back in because I forgot to take a screenshot. I selected the same 1st choice but when I got to the 2nd choice option, I realized that most were already gone including the one I had previously selected. I hurried up and hit the backspace until it took me back to the homescreen. Has anyone had this happen before? Will I still get my original choices or did they get. voided when I went in the second time?

I was with Boxycharm a few years, I cancel for a few months and then pick it back up for a while. I have been noticing repeats, wondering if it has anything to do with Covid-19 and it’s shipping partners. Don’t forget many things are manufactured in China and Korea both have been on lockdown.
I wish Boxycharm would be more transparent and communicate with their customers more. I remember when we had the 24k Cream debacle, they were completely silent. A explanation would of been nice.
This is just my 2-cents.
I would like the Tulia but not subscribing again to try to receive it. I did that this month for the hourglass and did not get it, but I am stuck with another month of Boxycharm hoping I get at least one thing I can use in my box.

Angela, for May they had an hourglass highlighter stick, so I signed back up in hopes of receiving it. The highlighter stick was one of the 3 you could choose from. I ended up choosing the Elemis.

After years, I cancelled last month. BC was going downhill before the Pandemic. They need better collaborations and actually look at your beauty profile. All the 50-11 variations need to go too. Just my two cents.

I canceled after being a customer for 5 years the quality has gone down so much, customer service is garbage, it’s just not worth it. I had emailed them about receiving an expired product and the kept saying if it was damaged to do such and such I said it’s old and heard nothing from them again.
I have such an overwhelming sense of relief since i kicked them to the curb.

Not working for me either, I wish these posts would be more clear if it’s only for select subscribers. I’d like to try the Tula, but it will probably be gone by the time it works for me.
They have some nice items for June, but I think I’m going to wind up cancelling depending on May. Lots of repeats.

I only get the choice of Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm or Lilly Lashes Triple X Mascara. I do not get any option for either of the Benefit products or the Artist Couture.
Is there anyone else who has their options limited like me? I am just wondering why I don’t get all of the choice options. FYI I have active subscriptions to all three levels of Boxy.

It’s possible that the person who that screen shot belongs to did not buy a base box last month. Because anyone who got a base box last month already received one of those Benefit primers. Im not sure though. That is completely just a guess on my part. I have no idea why they are giving so many options. Usually its 3 options.

The other options are for base box only. If you get the luxe box you just get the luxe box and don’t get the regular base box. Apparently the primers and Artist Couture will only be featured in the base box not the luxe. Hope that makes sense lol
