Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you’ll receive a surprise selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs.

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription’s products are designed in Venice, CA and made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place— as of January 2018 the company has donated nearly 100,000 socks to homeless shelters, low-income senior centers, hospitals, and under-privileged classrooms throughout the country!

Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, teens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you’ll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you’d like to receive one or two pairs per month.

This review is of the Women’s 2-pair “Wild and Crazy” subscription for $20 a month.

My April 2020 Sock Panda Review

When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive "wild & crazy" because I love wearing loud and fun socks to school with my black dress pants!

Shamrock Socks

So I am a bit confused...I received these socks March 26, which was almost 10 days after St. Patrick's Day, and for the April box? Besides the fact that these adorable shamrock socks came a month late, they are cute, but probably won't be worn for 11 months. This pair of socks featured the "Sock Panda" and "Give Back" logo, and featured a white background with cute four-leafed clovers, mostly green, but with a peach one sprinkled in there once in a while as well. They also featured the same peach color on the toe and heel for a nice contrast. These socks are extremely comfortable and fit well, even on my size 10 foot. And I must admit, even though they give off a St. Patrick's Day vibe I found the cheery colors to brighten up day 11 of being homebound.

This Little Piggy Socks

I feel our socks usually are based on a common theme each month, but if that's true, I absolutely do not see the link between these two pairs! These tall black socks feature little piglets wearing hats while sitting in teacups! These certainly win the crazy award! Unlike the shamrock socks, these socks are not adorned with the usual logos, and seem to be a lot stretchier than the other pair. I also noticed they seem to be slightly thinner too. I took a photo of the inside of the sock, because when on my feet you can see the inner grey color when they stretch which is a little interesting. I collect teacups, so the theme of these brought a smile to my face! I can't wait for school to start back up so I can rock these with my dress pants!

Verdict: Sock Panda sure was interesting this month! Shying away from the typical coordination of socks, we received two completely different pairs. I was a little disappointed about receiving the shamrock socks after St. Patrick's Day, as they were really cute and I could have worn them leading up to the holiday had they come earlier! The pig socks were really cute, and are something I would totally wear, so I was excited for them. I wonder what will come next month? Do you think they are a month behind and we will receive April umbrellas?

I would be sad to receive shamrocks so late in the month. That is when you buy items 75% off. The inside of the piggy socks don’t look comfortable.
