Always an excellent value – I have a double subscription

I can’t really see what size the Elemis balm is. Does anyone know if this is a sample size?

Luna

It’s a sample size, and is .7oz. 🙂

Too many samples.

I like about three of the spoilers so far and I’m just getting more selective these days. Dr. Brandt… please start being cruelty-free. I am a bit overloaded with cleansers at the moment, but I’m always open to facial moisturizers and legitimately great serums. However, there are still BeautyFix boxes from last year, like the November one that I may repurchase. 🙂

I’m really looking forward to this box. This is only my second month getting the box, after several months on hiatus, so almost everything is welcomed because I’m not overloaded on any type of item right now. I really need a cleanser so I’m glad to have a few in this box!
How many items typically come in a box? I’d love one makeup item:) I don’t need any more makeup but would love one makeup item.

I’ve subscribed on/off for about two years and makeup is rare — lots of amazing skincare products over the years, my faves being a full size Lancer face oil and Dr Brandt exfoliator…but outside of an occasional lip gloss and maybe I got a mascara once…it’s all skincare. I have rejoined Birchbox and it has been much more of a skin/hair/makeup mix the last four months. Not nearly the same value as Beautyfix, which typically ranges from 7-9 products, but still has great tries in it. Enjoy!

It can vary depending on what’s included. I think I’ve seen it range from 7 to 10 products. 🙂

So 3 cleansers in one box? This box is so disappointing compared to last month. I’m probably going to skip it.

I canceled. This looks like such a well rounded box and a huge improvement from the last couple months, but I just have too much skincare stuff.

I’m still on the fence about this one. Nice products, but most of them are sample size. My credit card can use a break. I hope everyone who gets it loves it. I am loving the April box.

I might have to pick this one up

While I don’t want every item, this is a FANTASTIC skincare box! Well done BeautyFix.

Not a fan of this balm as you can’t use it to take off makeup on your eyes. I am out.

The Elemis Cleansing Balm is amazing and takes my mascara right off without any irritation. I wouldn’t use it with my contacts in, but all eye make-up removers make my contacts cloudy for a bit. Maybe give it a try. It gets all my make-up off…there is never a trace left when I do my second cleanse with my PMD.

Do you happen to know if Elemis specifically states that it can’t be used (or isn’t intended) for eye makeup and long-wear liquid lipstick, etc? Or does it burn your eyes when you’ve tried? Or if it’s simply not powerful enough? Sorry for all of the questions, it just seems pointless to have a balm cleanser that isn’t good for eye makeup removal.

That’s part of why I love cleansing balms – They can easily and gently remove my waterproof mascara and long-wear liquid lipstick!

On the Elemis website in the description of this balm it says: “Avoid contact with eyes”. Also on the packaging it says something like rinse thoroughly if contact with eyes occurs. It’s not meant for your eyes.

The Elemis cleansing balm is my all time favorite skincare item. I use it to remove my eye makeup daily without any problems. It does have a pretty strong herbal smell which I love but I’m not sensitive to fragrances in skincare. I believe the scent comes from natural oils and is not added fragrance.

Nikkim

Okay this is the best-looking box I’ve seen in a while and I think I want it

So is it no longer a subscription? I went to subscribe and it isn’t an option anymore. At least I couldn’t find anywhere to subscribe.

Melody

I just subscribed last month and had trouble too. The only option in the drop-down was the one time box. Eventually the sub option appeared. I’m not sure what happened. Maybe I closed out my window completely or went to a different browser or something. But, eventually, it did become an option.

In the Dermstore site, use the menu bars in upper left corner to find “Beautyfix” (towards the bottom of the menu options), then sign up for the monthly subscription box.

It’s the best box for skincare in my humble opinion. I love it!

It’s not a available yet. Probably may 1 or 2. And April is sold out.

I love this Elemis cleansing balm! So excited

Connie Lee

Is it scented?

Heather

It’s still a subscription, but unfortunately April sold out about a week ago. The subscribe option should be available for May in a few days.
