I’ve never used this SkinMedica product, so that would be new to me. I wish Dr. Brandt was cruelty free, however. I just feel in this day and age, there’s no reason products should ever be tested on animals.

I completely agree! I feel slightly better about using products tested on animals that come on sub boxes because they aren’t making near the profit as when it’s bought outright. Otherwise, I stick to cruelty free!

I look at it more like “voting with my dollars.” I hope BeautyFix does a whole cruelty-free box soon. I typically stick to sub boxes that are cruelty-free.

I really like that SkinMedica product, but the sample is so small.

I thought it was small also! Then I looked it up. It’s $120 for 1 oz and $178 for two.

Yeah, I still have a sample from a previous box. Just took it out to look at it and it’s tiny. Anyways, hoping for bigger size products as the next spoilers.

Agree. Test on willing humans if testing is needed, never animals.

… so you think it’s better to test on animals, Sandy, rather than the people these products are intended for? I have to say that I’m very, very happy there are sub boxes and products in general that wouldn’t dare think of testing on animals.

Better than on innocent animals. Wouldn’t bother me one bit if humans volunteered. Humans can make that decision; animals cannot. I’ll be the animals’ attorney always. People? Meh.

Ooh I can’t say I agree with that statement. “Willing humans”, if they’re paid studies, are gonna end up being people from poor and marginalized communities

Looks like they got boxes back in stock, just checked the dermstore website and they are available for purchase again

Thank you for the heads up. I checked the page a couple of days ago and assumed they had sold out of the April box. I was a bit disappointed and relieved at the same time, but saw your comment and, sure enough, it’s back!

I’ve been wondering too as I’ve noticed it hasn’t been listed for a few days. Funny enough, I have no plans to get it (even though I really want to, but I’m trying hard to be more decisive with my beauty purchases), but I still like to check things out every once in a while just to see what’s out there. 🙂
