  1. I’m so torn on this box. I love the palette, but nothing else is really speaking to me. I was hoping to be blown away by the rest of the spoilers. I hate how lip plumping products feel on my lips (and the ingredients list is not good; menthol and drying alcohols, ahoy), and that highlighter is much too warm for me. While the konjac sponges would be used, they’re just not enough to get me to plunk down $40.

According to the box product description on the Tribe Beauty site, each box is supposed to have a face product, an eye product, a lip product, a tool, and a “skin prep product.” So probably the final spoiler is going to be for a skincare item. Crossing my fingers it’s something good.

  2. The eyeshadow palette is right up my street! I love those shades and Suva quality is very very nice as well. I subbed for Angelica’s box only not sure yet if I’ll get this one probably not as I’m trying to cut down on my 10 plus boxes a month of various sub beauty boxes. I’ve already cut Look Fantastic, Birchbox and one of my Boxycharm premium boxes.

  3. I have one of those from a prior TestTube and didn’t notice any plumping effect. My lips aren’t exactly thin (but not super plump either) so maybe it might be noticeable on different lips?

  4. I absolutely loved the past two boxes but I’m really not feeling this one. The palette’s okay but nothing exciting. If I wore highlighter I might like this one but I rarely do and I have sooooo many untouched ones piled up from all my sub boxes. I’m definitely not a fan of it konjac sponges. I just don’t get why they’re so special. If this lip product did actually plump your lips or help with lip lines I would be happy to get it but if it only truly produces soft lips I don’t need it. I have an entire drawer full of lip balms, masks, oils, etc etc. most of which do a pretty good job on my not-usually-super-dry lips. Oh well, you can’t win ‘me all. I purchased a six month sub after my first box so I will have one left after this one. Maybe it will wow me like the other two.

  5. They sent this lip plumper spoiler in an e-mail, along with a supposed “before & after” picture of how the product works. It was the exact same picture of a pair of smiling lips twice, just photoshopped all to heck. Very sketchy.

    • I actually love this product, but not for the lip plumping quality. It may do a little of that, but it mainly keeps my lips from feeling dry
