Pura Vida Jewelry Club "The Karma Set" March 2020 Review

One thing I enjoy about Pura Vida is that they always send some nice stickers with their jewelry. The designs are really fun and they always come packaged inside this foldout card that shares their story and details how they give back. They create over 200 full-time jobs for artisans worldwide!

Your jewelry will arrive in this nice sturdy box with a magnetic closure that would be perfect for gifting. Inside is some fun tropical tissue paper that makes for such a nice presentation! The card on top of our tissue paper welcomes us to the club and reminds us how our exclusive jewelry is only available to club members. This beautiful seahorse sticker might just be my favorite one yet!

Just a note: This card states that the value will be up to $50, while their website lists it as being up to $65. This is a little confusing, and also could be misleading since the higher value is listed on their website, but after a quick (and easy) chat with customer service they confirmed that the $65 value is correct.

Your jewelry comes in little dustbags each month which are perfect for storing your jewelry in. These are a bit different than the ones that come in their bracelet club pack. These are a little smoother and sleeker in my opinion.

Turquoise Stone Ear Cuff

I love turquoise and silver and I thought this cuff was such a fun new jewelry option! This cuff is really small and it's adjustable so you can slip it over your ear and tighten it to hold it in place.

I tried it two different ways. They have it modeled in the center of the ear so I tried that first and then I tried it at the top of my ear which I found to be more comfortable. Maybe my ears are sensitive, but I definitely thought it was painful trying to adjust and get the cuff on my ears! I ended up leaving it in at the top and I tightened it as much as I could, but a few hours later it did fall out, so I think I will have to stick to keeping it in the center of my ear instead!

Good Karma Charm Bracelet

This charm bracelet is cute and I love how dainty the little silver and turquoise charms are. It also has three different size settings so that you can adjust it to fit your wrist. While I thought it was cute, this one isn't quite my style. It feels like more of a younger design to me, but it is comfortable to wear and I do like the pops of turquoise, so I may end up wearing this one more than I thought!

Here it is on. I have it on the middle setting here.

Here you can see how well the two pieces coordinate with one another.

The Verdict: I thought this month's Pura Vida Jewelry Club was a cute set with all the turquoise details. The cuff was a really unique piece and while I love the idea of it, I'm not sure how well it will work in theory. Maybe I just need to get it a bit tighter next time to ensure it stays in place. The bracelet is cute and another fun design, although it remains to be seen how much I will actually wear it. This month was probably not my favorite, but I've received a lot of cute sets throughout my subscription, so I'm still happy with the fun of receiving new jewelry each month for $19.95!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

Can anyone share their opinion regarding this sub vs Emma & Chloe? I know e&c is more expensive and they send just 1 piece, but does that mean the quality of their jewelry is much higher? Does one appeal to different types of women? Please weigh in. I guess I should say I’m 25 but work for the federal government so my style is business casual, not club life, but my jewelry collection is sad.
