Jewelry Subscription Box Review February 2020

Large Gemstone Ring (Size 7)

Take a look at this piece! I have to say, it is probably the largest ring I have received in this box! The 2 bands are soldered together to create a unique box-shaped structure with a large red gemstone centered in between. On either side of the gemstone lay 8 white gemstones descending in size. While the ring is certainly sparkly, I found it to be extra yellow which is a little too bright for my personal taste. While it probably isn't something I would pick out on my own, I did find it to pair really nicely with this month's necklace and can see myself wearing them together with my black sweater for a bit of pizzaz!

Fringe Statement Necklace

Sticking with the large theme, we received this humongous fringe statement necklace! This unique chain necklace features a 20" long multi-circled base chain, with 8" trace chains dangling from about 8" of the base chain. I have never worn such a large statement piece and wasn't sure how to wear it. After doing some Google research, I found my black sweater to be my favorite pairing. I did find a similar necklace paired with a black tank top that was really cute, but since we are still far from tank-top weather, I opted for the sweater. While I won't be wearing this necklace often, it will certainly spice up any outfit I decide to wear it with! The quality of this necklace was good, it was heavy, but stayed together and hooked with a traditional lobster clasp.

Square Gemstone Earrings

The last item in this month's box were these delicate, square gemstone earrings. These sweet gemstones are tan, red, purple, and green and are attached with a small hoop that features a lever back. Since they are so small in size, they were easy to wear and not too heavy. While I didn't think they paired all that well with the included necklace and ring, I can see wearing these by themselves.

Verdict: With Jewelry Subscription you never know what you are going to get! This month I received 2 items that were a little out of my comfort zone, but ended up kind of liking them! The earrings could go with just about anything, so it was nice to have a versatile item along with the statement pieces. This subscription sends complete surprises and is a lot of fun. I do wish they would send information about each piece, as I have no idea what metals each piece is made of which would be a concern for people with metal allergies. I can't wait to see what my stylist chooses for me next month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on your style profile!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.99 a month + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $12.33.

I received those exact earrings, with a matching ring and necklace. I wasn’t so sure about such a matchy matchy set, but I’ve gotten compliments on every single piece each time I’ve worn them. They are really very pretty and unique. I was really happy with what I received this month and it does appear that they must take personal preference into account in some regard.

I love the ring and earrings. The necklace isn’t for me, but I love that this jewelry isn’t the usual “dainty” stuff that comes in most subs. Not a fan of stuff you have to invade my personal space to see.

I like the earrings and the ring but the necklace is too big and gaudy.

I guess it’s a matter of taste. This stuff looks incredibly gaudy to me, but it might be fun on a night out…somewhere or other. I don’t know.

I love the earrings, but that is it. Thanks for the honest review!
