Oh no! I thought I canceled successfully only to realize after I was charged they wanted comments to cancel. I am not a fan of journals in any form. I pray that is not the feature item. Goodbye $33 hard earned dollars🤦♀️

Me too! Huge disappointment. No idea you had to answer all the questions to cancel. Peeved!

I find it amazing that so many sub boxes still include journals. I don’t know anyone – myself included – who doesn’t use their smart phone/tablet/similar device for this purpose. I’ve never used a journal once in all my years of getting sub boxes off and on. I get turned off right away when I see a journal unless there’s something really unique about it. To each their own I suppose 🙂

I agree with Ragan … writing things down is so much better for me, personally, than keeping notes in my device. I do have several notes saved in my phone, but I remember things better when writing them down (I think this is even backed by scientific researching … note-taking on paper vs. computer), and I just LOVE stationery, paper goods, etc. It gives me joy. So I’m excited about this! I used to have a dream journal when I was in high school/middle school (just a spiral notebook I decorated) and it really helped me start remembering my dreams better!

Absolutely. When you physically write things down, you remember it better and connect with it more. You should write your goals on paper and post them where you can see them. There is just something more meaningful about writing things on paper.

I am not the target market for this subscription but I abhor the idea of using an electronic device like a phone or tablet for writing things down. I use too many words that aren’t in the autocorrect dictionary and end up getting changed to nonsense, and it is so much quicker to be able to write or type (on a full keyboard) what I want than to try to interpret gibberish later. (As an example, “Convenia,” an injectable antibiotic, got corrected by my phone to “congenial,” which would not have been the least bit helpful in remembering what the vet had actually given to my cat if I hadn’t caught it immediately.)

I haven’t used this brand but I’ve used similar products to the magnesium spray before and really love them! They really do work to help relax you.

That’s interesting. In contrast, I always have several journals going at the same time. I have one personal journal none journal in which I list all the info on my home, (repairs, ideas for updates, etc). I also have one for my garden – what to plant, when, notes on how it grew, etc. And another journal with info on my pets – vaccinations, when they were last at the vet, any health issues, etc. Having just one journal with all that info together never worked for me. It was too much “extra stuff” in the way of my personal thoughts about life, and too hard to find specific things like the info on when maintenance was last done.

That seems like a great idea!

Honestly I’m sick of journals this year already. But I’m excited about the magnesium spray.

I was just thinking I still have journals that came in sub boxes from ages ago I can’t swap… They seem to be like sunglasses in many sub boxes – the subs all think they need to send you a pair at least once a year…lol If anyone wants to swap with me you are welcome to a free journal of the 3 or 4 I have listed I believe! 🙂
