Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Dia & Co January 2020 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month got an update! Now it comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say!

Dia and Co February 2020 Box- 0008

Enclosed is a kind message from this month's stylist, Kristin S. This month, I was late on providing feedback or selecting items, but Kristin was able to select a couple pieces I added to my wishlist. I can't recommend providing feedback enough for each box, providing a Pinterest link, and also selecting items for your wishlist. It helps your stylist a great deal!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $260. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $180! The savings would be $80 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would cover most of the balance for the Downing Studio top and Chetto B jumpsuit! What a deal!

Mesilla Puff Print Jumpsuit by Chetta B, Size 20 — Retail Value $49

For years I didn't think I could wear jumpsuits due to my shape. Once I started writing for MSA I became even more open to clothing I might not have been to in the past. Never let your size or body shape deter you from trying out different styles and trends-- you might be surprised! I have received quite a few jumpsuits over the years, but this one might be one of my favorites. This Chetta B jumpsuit stands out to me for a few reasons. It is a bit more open than some of my other ones and easier to get on and off, especially due to the stretchy fabric. I adore the ruffle detail on the chest and sleeves, but the square cut out back might be my favorite feature! It goes low showing the back off, but not low enough that your bra will be exposed! It is perfect! This piece would be ideal for late summer/early fall due to the deep jewel-toned color palette. However, I will get a few wears in before spring hits! I styled this piece with my off-white western boots to make the white accents pop. This would also look great with some retro open-toe sandals with wooden platforms and oversized brown sunglasses for a '70s-inspired look!

Dinah Short Sleeve Woven Front Top by Downing Studio, Size 2x — Retail Value $33

Anyone that knows me in even the smallest capacity is aware of my fondness for animal print. I was pleased to see Kristen selected this top for me; it is one I actually put on my wishlist! What I like about it is that it is not entirely the animal print, it is actually just down the front and has a warm terracotta border to separate the solid black on the shirt from the rich shades of cream and tan leopard spots. The fabric has limited stretch, but is rather comfortable. This looks great paired with black jeans and my open-toed heels (can you tell I am eager for spring? Possibly these shoes will help usher it in quicker, eh?). This would also look wonderful paired with a black blazer and dress pants at the office for a chic work ensemble!

Caldwell Skinny Jeans by Morgan & Walker, Size 22 — Retail Value $69

In the feedback for one of my previous Dia & Co boxes, I requested a pair of black jeans. Well, ask and you shall receive! These Morgan & Walker jeans have great stretch and are tapered at the ankle just the way I like! The only thing I  can remotely gripe about is that I wish they were even higher waisted. I am forever in pursuit of finding the dreamiest, '70s-style high waisted skinny leg jeans! Some call them mom jeans, I call them dream jeans! Though I am still on the hunt, I still love these jeans. These beauties look amazing with all the tops my stylist sent me and will certainly become a staple in my wardrobe!

Hildegard Pleated Back Blouse by B. CurvySize 2x — Retail Value $59

This may be an unpopular opinion, but red and pink are a great color combo all year. Certainly, I love red paired with pink for Valentine's Day as shown in last month's Dia & Co review, but this blouse goes to show you can wear these colors together any time! I also appreciate the retro floral print on this blouse-- it is everything! The top has limited stretch, but fits rather well. I styled this with the black Morgan & Walker jeans that Kristen included, but imagine this with a red faux leather mini-skirt and red booties for a night out on the town. This will also look fantastic with black shorts and red flats in the summer!

Tori V-Neck Sweater by d/c JEANS, Size 1x — Retail Value $50

I don't know if it is the V-neck or the colors featured in this sweater, but it reminds me of the varsity sweaters in Grease. It is obviously missing the big, red R, but I just get that vibe. That being said, I was excited to get another sweater. It will be spring in no time, but I am constantly cold at work. I live in sweaters from October 'til April, and even in warmer months I bring a cardigan just in case. This sweater is great for work, of course, but if you pair it with a black mini skirt and booties this could be an awesome piece to wear for a date or a weekend brunch. The sweater is warm, but the knit is not too thick or bulky, so you can easily layer shirts underneath and top off with a denim jacket as well.

Verdict: Dia & Co is one of the first boxes I began reviewing and remains one of my favorites. I appreciate the advancements they have made over the years. My favorite is that they allow you to have the option of buying pieces separately or signing up for the subscription box-- it makes the service more tailored and convenient! With styling boxes, you have the ability to select three of the five pieces your stylist sends you. This month I did not select three pieces, but my stylist used the feedback I provided on last month's box and the wishlist I added pieces to. I always strongly recommend providing your stylist with feedback every month and creating a Pinterest board-- it truly creates a collaborative effort in ensuring you get a dream box! Kristin definitely nailed it with sending me the Morgan & Walker jeans, Chetta B jumpsuit, and Drowning Studio top. How awesome it is to get a box of clothing personally selected for you delivered right to your door? I would say, extremely! I can't wait to see what Kristen sends me next month, can you?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $260. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $180 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 31% discount.
