Boxwalla Coupon – 20% Off Past Boxes!

Boxwalla has a new deal available now for one-time boxes:

It does seem a little weird to be sending out a coupon code to you all at this time. Especially considering we have never done such a code before! But we have had many emails in the past few weeks asking if we can offer a code to subscribers who wanted to purchase one-time boxes including past boxes. So we have been thinking of doing that for some time now, as we wanted to find tangible ways to show our appreciation and thanks to you for your support through good times and bad.

We know that some of the things we showcase, skincarebooksethically made handbags, are things that bring you joy. At this difficult time, we absolutely don't want to pressure those that don't need anything but for those of you who do need to replenish, and who want to use skincare to give yourself a little boost, we have a coupon code for you to make it easier to shop for yourself. Also, once you try these products and fall in love, please consider (if you can afford to), shopping directly from the brands to support them. I am happy to make recommendations on what you can purchase both from us and from the brands directly.

Use coupon code washyourhands to save 20% off anything on the one time page - past boxes, skincare, handbags, etc:

Are you getting anything from the Boxwalla sale?

I received the email on Monday. The one box I might have purchased was out, which was a box I had already received and would have loved a second.. I came to my senses anyway, and saved my money.

I understand the idea of an upcharge on onetime boxes vs subscription, but these “leftovers” boxes are $70-$75 when the sub is $50…that’s a large upcharge, even with discount. I was interested in a couple of the boxes but that’s too much to pay right now for luxury items, especially in these unsettling economic times.

Ya, I was eyeing the Lepaar box because I’ve really been longing for it, and it came out when I was on a no-buy for myself during the holidays, so I missed out on it. Incidentally, I’m on a no-buy now until later next month (not related to what’s going on in the world right now), but I’ve given myself some wiggle room in case a “must-have” box comes out, and getting 20% off that particular box would fall into that category for me. lol However, after I calculated the cost of the box, I really don’t feel like spending $56 on that box right now, so I’m going to pass…. yet again 🙁

I’m on the fence about the Lepaar… if the Votary was still available, I’d totally pay the 56 bucks, because I was bummed I missed that (and even Ipsy does the aftermath mark-up; I guess you pay a premium to know what you’re getting :/ ), but I’m probably not >50 tempted when I could put the money toward other stuff. Still, nice to see them offering one-off boxes at all.
