It’s not exactly a beauty box, but yes style does a sample box that is great. Good variety of high and low end product samples (masks and skincare).

Sounds like a box of suck… I just got the Clinique almost lipstick In November I think??

Hi Lisa — I’ve never gotten Macy’s, so can’t say, sorry! Now that I’ve cancelled Play!, I’m subscribed to Allure and New Beauty Test Tube… both of which I still like. I also just purchased the Netaporter Net Sustain box and plan on purchasing more of those or Beauty Fix boxes if they look good. I’m just over the super tiny samples and repeats in Sephora and need to destash a bit anyway.

I just realized I got the eyeliner in January’s box as well, but it slipped my mind because I gave it to a friend right away and I didn’t realize it was 2019’s B-day gift. After I received another box with products I won’t use, I decided that was going to be my last box. My friend cancelled as well. We subscribed at the same time and would expect our boxes with excitement every month but after so many repeats and the same lipstick brand and shade. We decided to cancel. Too bad because we like Sephora and the brands and products they carry, but all the stuff they sent in Play! I’ve already tried and after only being able to use 1 out of 5 products for a few months I decided $10 for half a spoonful of moisturizer wasn’t a good deal.

Yes, after being subscribed for a couple of years. January’s box was my last box. I was kind of expecting to regret my decision, but after seeing these spoilers: no, not at all. 🙁 Ay sephora….
