M404 Small Duo Foundation Brush (Synthetic) - Retail Value $8.00
I use a liquid foundation, and while I normally apply mostly with my fingertips, a duo fiber brush like this is really nice for a super smooth finish. The smaller size of this brush makes it perfect for around the eyes and mouth.

M497 Duo Soft Fan (Synthetic) - Retail Value $9.00
Ahhhh I always love a fan brush. I have no clue why, as I usually only use them for highlighters. I just love the shape and the delicate way they apply powders. This black and white one feels extra delicate due to the different bristle lengths. It is perfect for adding the softest sparkle to the high points of your face as well as your collarbone.

M427 Tapered Blush Brush (Synthetic) - Retail Value $9.00
Even though I am on the ruddy side, I still wear blush every day. I usually have a massive fluffy brush I default to, but I do like applying blush with a brush like this with its different fiber lengths. I have a little trick I like to do with this sort of brush though: I like to use it damp. I run the head under the faucet then absorb the majority of the water with a towel. I then use it in powder blush and apply in soft circles over the apples of my cheeks. The moisture allows the blush to wash across my cheeks very sheerly, and the effect is glowy and pretty.

M164 Small Flat Angled Contour Brush (Synthetic) - Retail Value $6.00
Our last brush is a stubby little contour with some super short bristles! I don't often contour, but I could see why this brush would be so useful. The short bristles allow you to actually see what you are doing and place powder or cream onto your skin with expert precision.
Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club had a really great mix this month. Every single brush was well made and very useful, especially if you are growing your brush collection. I can see myself using the foundation, blush, and fan all the time, and though the contour might see less action, it was still a great brush. Overall, this month has a retail value of $32, which is $12 more than the $20 subscription cost.
