I’m a seasonal subscriber. I clicked in at exactly 9am for customization… all the “throwback” items were sold out.

I’m bummed ’cause I wanted to select the Elemis night cream & the Green Goo scrub.

Kinda crappy of FFF not to reserve ANY stock for seasonal subber.

Agreed! I was interested in the skincare and it was all gone. There was a few add-ons that looked good, but decided to cancel and save the $50. Maybe summer box will be better.

I love getting this box, its my little treat. Normally each category has 3 items to choose from. This time you have 3 new categories and an additional 3 older items. I love this. I regret not having the contour makeup because I didn’t understand it before and im excited to get another chance to get it since I’ve watched some videos on how to use it.

I cancelled. I was on track to renew and would have if the things I wanted were available an hour after customizing opened. I don’t need duplicates and am working through the stuff I have. It was an easy decision.

This is a bunch of repeat items. Nothing is new. Very disappointed! Didn’t think it could get worse than the winter box. And yet it is.
Customer service has gotten terrible as well.

I hate to say it, but I am beyond disappointed in this box – it feels like a bunch of old(er) and expiring items thrown together in an attempt to empty the warehouse.

Aside from the umbrella, nothing says or feels Spring and there seems to be no cohesive theme for the box, it’s just random items.

I really hope FFF goes back to previous methods of thoughtfully curating the box based on the specific season and stops trying to pass off their warehouse clear-out as “throwback” items.

I agree with this 100%. I’ve been on this website at least five times going through all the items trying to decide whether or not I’ll cancel. I’m really leaving that way unfortunately. With this box I would be picking things just for the sake of picking 😔

I’ve usually loved my boxes, but this one is full of duds. More basic bowls from West Elm? Tea towels? There are very few big name cosmetic/hair companies represented, and too many repeats. The few great items in the Add Ons were sold out within an hour. I’m receiving a box full of random stuff that I’m not all that interested in. Very disappointed with the Spring Box.

I only really want one item out of this box…because like another commenter said…I have too much STUFF. I can really use the weighted eye mask, but found one comparable on Amazon for $13.99. I’ll do that instead, and continue to use up my stash and take a break from FFF and other similar boxes for a while.

I agree about the amount of STUFF and the stress it causes not to mention the environmental impact of all of these boxes! I’m seriously paring down my subscriptions and swapping actively so as not to drown in all the crap I’ll never use. Many complain about global warming and ocean plastics but continue to purchase these boxes. I’m as guilty as the next person and really starting to rethink where I spend my money.

Ana

That’s a compelling point you make about subscription box impact on global warming / carbon footprint. Not to mention the piles of plastic in my house from the FFF boxes I already received. I can’t justify a box traveling across country filled with stuff I can travel across town to get. Do you know of an environmentally guilt-free box?

Ash

That’s really awesome you’re being more mindful of those things! Not everyone stops and considers their impact.

I agree I need to use up stuff. I have decided no more makeup or beauty boxes until I get my stash down except for target’s lip box and the new beauty awards box if it goes on sale and fff and any other boxes that are amazing. I think I have a problem.

I don’t disagree that we have too much stuff but I’m excited about this box and think a lot of it is pretty useful. I’m getting the light (okay, yes, it’s frivolous but I’m curious), my daughter flies to visit her dad a few times a year and she’s a hot mess so the packing cubes could help her, the necklace is small so it’s not a big deal, the towels are practical and will be used, the salt & peppermill will replace the single use ones I buy. I’m excited for this box.

Crystal

This is my last box and I’ve cancelled. I’m okay with the spring box, actually, I’ve always wanted to try one of those light thingies and the other stuff is perfectly fine…it’s just that I’ve got so much STUFF. I mean, stuff and stuff. I’m still working my way through FFF stuff that I received last year. It’s stuff I may like, but I don’t need. I’m drowning in stuff! That’s the problem with a sub addiction, you just find yourself surrounded by stuff but wanting more stuff. It’s ridiculous. I’m going cold turkey!

Tawanda

This is my situation. I’m trying to not get sucked in this year. I have so much Stuff. I need more storage and that’s crazy! Plus I need to save money.

Thank you for this. Though I canceled, I started looking for deals on this box because of fomo for the two items in this box I love. They may be more expensive to buy individually, but what price am I paying for the real estate the other items will occupy? I can’t trust myself not to keep them just in case.

Alice

Crystal, that’s exactly the situation for most people, too much STUFF. Over-consumerism. We get drawn in to the ‘want’, then realize it’s not a ‘need’. The result is clutter and overwhelming stress.

Melissa

I’m currently in a bad situation Because of all my stuff. My apartment building got sold, and they are coming to do an inspection of the building. My landlord told me that I need to seriously downsize, and they have to be able to inspect all the outlets and the hot water heater, which is in my closet. Unfortunately I have boxes and boxes piled up in front of my closet and kind of blocking some outlets that I never use. I actually have to take time off of work to move stuff out in time for the inspection. I am so stressed I just want to throw up. I know that my case is extreme, but there is a lot of truth in the above comments. Make sure you own your stuff, and don’t let your stuff own you.

Yes! I so agree!

This comment is entertaining, powerful and true. I loved it and needed to read this. “Stuff and stuff” lol

Looks like a glow recipe spray, something from the Purlisse watermelon line and reusable straws are the other products.

Still holding strong and not resubbing. Maybe the summer box will draw me back in.
