  1. So this items l really nice but I’m not sure how they fit with the Qingdao theme. Anyone know? The Jaipur box clearly had an Indian flair so I guess I was hoping for something similar to that this time, showing off regional culture.

    • Hi B!

My name is Laura and I work at JourneeBox. In the Qingdoa box, we utilize many traditional Chinese patterns and ingredients. Many of the products were produced in Qingdoa and a few of the products that have not been spoiled yet will highlight different cultural elements of China, but unfortunately I cant give more details until the box is released. Hopefully this helps answer your question!

  2. I’m just not sure what I would use either of these vases for – maybe tea storage in the one with the lid, maybe as a vase for the marble one? Does anyone know if either of these would be able to hold liquid? What are other subscribers thoughts on how they will use them?

    • The marble one would look nice on a desk to display pens and pencils, in the bathroom to hold toothbrushes, or as a vase. The brown one could hold tea, dried herbs, bath salts, cat treats, pretty much anything you want to keep airtight and dry.

    • I was thinking of selecting the brown one and using it to store my cotton rounds.

    • Hi,

The marble option is water tight and can be used as a vase.

      Journee Well

  3. I really like Journee. Hopefully, one can customize the jars. The marble pattern one is strikingly similar to the pet urns I own. I do not want something that reminds me of an urn.

    • I had the same thought XD

    • Oh No! The jars are lovely in person and I think the size will make it less urn like. We will keep this feedback in mind going forward, thanks everyone!

  4. I really really want this box! Loving every spoiler! Wish I could subscribe!

  5. I love all the spoilers, really looking forward to this box! Does anyone know when customization will begin and shipping?

    • I got an email with this third spoiler reveal earlier and it said subscribers will receive another email later in the month to make their selection. Hope this helps!

  6. What I love about this box is that it really feels like they’re creating something new, rather than just going with the flow of how subscription boxes are usually curated. I feel like half the spoilers are just gorgeous items I instantly love (like the jewelry) while the other half give me a moment of pause, where I realize that I would never ever have bought the item but will be really excited to receive it and will for sure treasure it. Like, these jars? So random, but so cute and useful. Laddus? Never tried before, SO delicious. Would I have ever bought a bed runner/rug? Nope, but it makes my room feel so much cozier!

This really is what I feel like subscription boxes should be about.

    • Hi Beth,

This is Kevia and JourneeBox is my third child! Thank you so much for your appreciation. Each box reflects how I experience the world as well as my vision for a more sustainable future. Your comment is a gift!

      Journee Well,
      Kevia

  7. Does anyone know when we get to customize and do seasonal subscribers get to customize as well?

    • All members get to select their choice. Annual members get an extra gift in their box! If you sign up and say a friend referred you, you’ll get a referral gift too!

  8. I love these options so far! Great box.

  9. I haven’t seen any indication that ownership has changed? I’ve been a subscriber from the first Journee box and I’ve loved them all! I’m especially loving this theme and the fact that we get to customize so much!

  10. Is there a new owner with this box because this and the previous box were amazing? I love that we get a choice…or is this for annual only? I definitely want to sub now. Can’t wait to see the other spoilers!

    • The last box had the same personal notes from the founder, so I don’t believe so! It feels like she’s just found her stride – these recent boxes feel like they’re really leaning into the themes that they had alluded to from the start.

  11. Okay, I am in LOVE with that brown vase! The scarf looks lovely, but I have sooo many. The vase cinched this one for me!

  12. Those jars kind of look like Urns.

    • Do seasonal subs get to choose all three?

      • Yes, quarterly members can customize all three spoilers, the Annual member gift will be spoiled next week.

        • @Journeebox customer service, I received emails from Kevia Style, but emails from the sub box I don’t. Never receive a spoiler email and now I’m scared I’ll miss customization. I just noticed today there was a 3rd spoiler 🙁

          • Hi Vianny,

We can put you on the direct mailing as some people are not able to get messages sent via MailChimp from us. Contact [email protected] and we will take care of you.

    • The jars are very pretty, but similarly, first thing that came to my mind was they look like urns. Thought this was because I
sadly have had to arrange cremations for two family members in the past year and a half😥. Still shaping up to be yet another beautifully curated box.

      • They would make nice urns, if you could figure out how to seal them save ya some $$

        • Size would make nice pet urns.

          • That’s just what I was thinking when I saw them!
