For those who love cocofloss but looking for a more affordable option (well, except when buying as an add on I guess) I found this at my local Target: Dr. Ginger’s All-Natural Coconut Oil & Xylitol Dental Floss. It’s not quite as thick as cocofloss but i found it to be comparable in terms of how it cleans your teeth and am happy to not have to wait for add ons to get it!

Worst add on sale maybe ever?

I am an annual member . I bought stuff on the last sale the same day I was granted access. 2 months later i get an e mail telling me the items i bought were” out of stock”. This is the second time it happens. I am done with FFF.

I’m done too! Half of the items in Customization are already sold out an hour into being open for select members….total BS!!! I went to their site to chat and all I got was….I’m sorry!

I was so excited to see the R n Co shampoo and conditioner!! I was hoping that was going to be a “throw back” choice (lol) as I didn’t get it the first time around; I had selected the Kate Somerville moisturizer. Anyhow I was in pretty close to when the add on sale opened and it was already sold out. I’ll keep checking though – fingers crossed!

Overall I like many of the items! I can say that I never would have tried a few of the products I have and love if it weren’t for Fabfitfun, so I am a big fan right now!

I loved the winter box and am excited to see the rest of what’s in the Spring box!

FFF billed me twice for the R+Co Set and each time never sent it. Finally they said they didn’t have it and offered me a $10 credit. So, so, so thrilled to know it is available (insert eye roll). I actually cancelled my subscription because of all the back and forth and no actual product.

The doggy beds are selling cheap on the add ons. That’s sad. I wish I canceled I have another year. The bamboo back I had back in I think in the late 70’s or 80’s. The hat does nothing for me. I’ll find out in 2 hours.

What are peoples experience with mystery boxes?

Chantel

You can go on the Fabfitfun community forum and see a million examples. They seem to be very skincare heavy. I’d say 50% of people are thrilled and 50% are disappointed and said they wished they just bought a few things they liked.

I want that avocado pet bed! But I don’t even subscribe to this box lol.

Might as well wait until the last day now! Wait for everyone to dump what they put in their carts today. Makes sense. *sarcasm*

Let me say… Ugh… EWW… WT? … EXPENSIVE … YUCK

Are there shipping charges for addons? I only want the cocofloss but if i have to pay shipping It’s not worth it.

Janet

It says that add ons ship free with your spring box, when u go to your cart page. That’s pretty cool. I also have the coco floss, in both flavors in my cart.

If your teeth are closely spaced, Cocofloss is a nightmare. I purchased this as an add on with the Winter box, and it shredded when I tried to use it. It is Glide or nothing for me.

I like some of the pet items but unsure if I will take the plunge.

I usually jump at the Babe Lash, but they seem to offer it each round anx I scored a couple with Ipsy for $12 each so.we will see.

That stuff is amazing! I have naturally straight, blonde, fairly long but sparse lashes. I’ve tried other products that helped a bit with strengthening, lengthening and not losing as many or as easily as usual. But Babe Lash, while it’s hard to pin down exactly what it’s done and has not done, basically gave me a general lash makeover and not only turned back the clock 20 years or so but quite possibly made them behave (vs just look) better than ever before. What I mean is that because they’re still blonde and difficult to see unless you look from my profile, you don’t see much other than some additional length. But when I put mascara on….holy moly. They almost look like false lashes. And it doesn’t matter what kind of mascara I use (I’ve experimented with everything from $5 drugstore tubes to $35 ones) which is crazy because historically my lashes don’t respond well to almost any mascara and even if they did I at least had to curl them first if not also use a primer on them. It’s just not necessary to take the extra steps anymore. Especially the primer. I still find curling them helpful with certain types of mascara (mostly due to wand design) but definitely not required. I’ve been curling them and constantly searching for the best tool and products (including serums) for decades now. I’m pretty sure no lash serum can actually curl your lashes but Babe Lash has done something to mine that’s freed me from using a curler and/or primer being absolutely mandatory no matter what mascara I use. Somehow I’m just able to reach more difficult areas and this more thorough and consistent application does wonders as far as opening up and accentuating my eyes. I was actually getting ready to use a salon gift certificate to get a lash lift (perm) and tint before I started using Babe Lash. I’m so glad I didn’t waste the gift certificate and that the improvement was noticeable much sooner than with other lash serums I’ve tried. It went even faster the more often/consistently I used it. But now I think I’ve maxed out my potential so I only use it 3-4 nights a week to maintain. I have a spare one from Ipsy too but I’m going to get another one at this lower price while I can just to be safe.

I like some of the add-ons. I picked up the double star necklace I missed out on before, as well as some sunscreen, tea, and several bottles of The Laundress. As to the people who were disappointed something they wanted went out of stock, I would click on the item and then refresh once in a while. As people prune their carts over the next few days you should get a chance at it.

Dawn

I bought the star necklace for $5.50 with shipping on an auction site. New on the card and in the bag. Sometimes this is my best option.

Meg

There is one thing I actually really really want but it says out of stock already (I signed in only 15 min after it went live! Sheesh!). What happens if someone decides they don’t want it? Could it become available again? Should I stalk it or is that a waste of time? (It’s the Glass Ladder Co clutch – I almost paid full price earlier this month so now I’m dying for this one)

Michele

Add it to your favorites (by clicking on the heart until it turns red) and then just check your “favorites” from the menu on the left. People always get rid of stuff, especially towards the closing of the sale. Much easier to get if you just have to check your favorites instead of constantly looking for it in everything else.

Beth

It’s there now!!

ALWAYS keep checking back

FYI Meg, that is a mini clutch, NOT the same from CB. So, just make sure you know what size it is. It will not fit a notebook and probably not a tablet.

Gabriela

My thoughts as well. I’m just waiting for the customization tomorrow to decide whether I’m going to cancel or not. My annual is up for renewal.

Reply ButtonReply

Beccah

The prices are higher than usual and there isn’t anything great in this round. The selection is the worst I’ve seen. No add-ons for me and I may cancel all together.

Beth in Oklahoma

Same here. I found some items that I might purchase, but nothing that screamed, “put me in your cart now!” Which is a good thing, I guess.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

I wish this were true for me! I originally had $732 of stuff in my cart, currently pruned down to $478, long way to go.

Beth

Absolutely true! I usually order a few things as add-ons, but this time there’s nada. Same old stuff we’ve seen so many times before, or new items that are really poorly made (aka crap). Luckily my sub is up and I can cancel!!

Btw – That wooden purse is from the 70s. Usually old fashion items are reintroduced with an updated twist, but I’d bet I could find that exact purse in my parents attic!

Reply ButtonReply

LB

I’m guessing that the updated twist is that it is made from cheaper materials and won’t last nearly as long. Lol.

Kathy

My thoughts exactly.
