  1. I used your code to order this box after reading this review! I’m a sucker for any kind of bag, but a whole crossbody purse, plus a set of sustainable grocery totes which I don’t already own, that was an easy yes for me.

  2. I don’t like either spoiler, so this is an easy pass.

  3. This is nice! From its site, looks like zipper inside which is so hard to find in bags. Love the extra security especially when traveling.

  4. I like real leather but I am annual so I will choose white. I have been wanting a real white bag but I shop high end and won’t spend the money on white because I’m clumsy lol so this is gonna be a good option

    • The colors say Honey, Grey, and Black , so it will probably be a light bluish grey color!

  5. You all can google the Zoe Crossbody and see the inside, plus, I think somewhere on one of their sites, they have the inside photo. 10x7x3. Perfect. I think “plastic” as some of you call it, is fine with me. I have the light grey portfolio from Spring last year which is also vegan leather. It’s soft and durable and this purse will make a great addition. This is only 1 of 2 spoilers so far for $50! I think it’s great. I need a new purse as I only subscribe to 4 boxes, so don’t have the fear of duplicates, and if I want something different, I go elsewhere to buy it. I subscribe to this (yearly), Margot Elena, Ipsy, and Universal Yums. I am satisfied!

    • I looked at the Pixie mood website to see the purse, and the “grey” there looks a medium grey- this grey option looks super light- almost pale blue. If you have the grey portfolio from last time, can you verify the color?

  6. My interest in this box just peaked! I was disappointed seeing the bags but might be pleasantly surprised.. I do wish the bag was real leather. To me, getting a leather bag isn’t like getting a fur coat. We eat cows so leather is fine.. I just don’t like real fur because they kill those animals for their skins.. Cows.. no they don’t because we use them for food.. Plus I love the way leather smells! Sometimes these vegan purses have a terrible smell when you first get them.. Sometimes it goes away.. sometimes it doesn’t.. I hope it is higher quality then that.

    • Sweety, the vegan leather is not for those who eat cows. It’s for those who don’t eat animals at all.

      • Sweety, that’s not what she meant. She meant we already use the meat why waste the hides, which is completely practical.

      • Not vegan… PLEATHER. I eat cows and I love leather bags. My dog prefers cows over corn as well. It wouldn’t hurt to have a real leather option in one of these sub boxes. The smell of the plastic is often overpowering. And the words PIXIE MOOD do cheapen the look.

      • Brands are ditching the animal suffering industry as people become more aware. Pls join

      • I’m on the leather side, but I can respect the vegan side for their concern about the animals. For me, I choose leather because I personally like the material as well as the longer term durability. I’m more of an environmentalist than I am and animal rights activist and since vegan leather can fray and go bad more quickly, I find that leather, being more durable, is better for the environment and fits my personal concerns better. In terms of creation process, vegan leather and the process of tanning real leather are both pretty bad for the environment so it is better to only get the purses that you actually need for your wardrobe. I think it would be nice if there were options for either leather or vegan leather or to switch for different product completely rather than just the color, so that we only get the products we know we would actually use and create less waste in the world.

    • Please know that leather is its own industry and cows are killed specifically for leather. Farmed cow’s skin is usually used for gelatin and other byproducts, leather is actually not a biproduct. PLEASE look into what happens and do not fund it because the animals are SUFFERING. I am so happy they are using vegan leather which no animals had to suffer for <3 Plus vegan leather has come a long way.

      • Please research reliable sources. Cow leather is a byproduct of the meat industry. It is NOT it’s own industry.

  7. If you go to Causebox’s IG, you can see someone wearing the bag. Annual members will get to choose which color bag they want. Quarterly members will be surprised.

    • There’s a photo above of someone wearing all three colors of the bag.

  8. This is the cutest bag ive seen in a sub box in a while. I prefer leather bags but a non leather alternative is okay as long as the quality is there. Is it easy to cancel this or do you have to go through hoops?

    • Very easy to cancel. CS is great and fast (at least for me it was). Agree on the bag…finally, a useful style!

  9. I wanted to subscribe after getting bored with fab fit fun. However I don’t like vegan leather. I wished they would have a recycled cloth purse instead.

  10. No FOMO at all!
    So glad I cancelled!

    • I think the crossbody bag is cute! I like it a lot.

And I have some reusable veggie bags but I could use more. Maybe I’m boring but I like practical and I feel as if it helps support “causes,” thus Causebox. I’ll take them to Whole Foods and feel like I’m being helpful, and conveniently forget Amazon owns WF and lay myself on the back.

I’m excited to see what else!

  11. I think the crossbody is adorable. Real leather from cows isn’t sustainable either and Pixie Mood is more responsible than some companies. My only issue is going to be choosing just one color.

    • Leather is sustainable.

      • Leather is biodegradable, which does not necessarily mean sustainable. The amount of cows we use to feed our diets and consumerism are not sustainable and are contributing greatly to the degradation of our enviornment.

      • You need to research the meaning of sustainable. Leather is sustainable.

      • It is very much not sustainable and the animals suffer deeply. Please research and don’t support

    • Vegan leather is chemical plastic.

      • Toxic chemicals are used to stop decomposition of the animal’s skin to make leather. Leather production is worse for the environment than vegan leather. Tannery workers are often sickened by the chemicals used to make leather. These used chemicals then pollute the environment. China uses dogs for some of their leather. Leather goods cheap enough to be in sub boxes is unsustainable and horrible for the environment.

      • Facts

  12. Does everyone get to choose the handbag color, or just annual members?

    • We don’t know yet, and I’m an annual.

    • It should just be annual members.

  13. Handbags look great especially the honey one. I may have to sign up.

  14. I don’t like these bags, I don’t like plastic used for them and “premium plastic” made me laugh.

    • I like the purse, but some vegan leather is really junky, so that is a little scary. I don’t need the veggie bags. I already have two sets since our state charges for plastic bags.

  15. My style! Looking forward to this.

  16. Everyone gets a purse? Yay!

And those bags will come in handy since my city is doing away with plastic bags in stores and will start charging for paper bags.

  17. The term vegan leather is starting to drive me insane lol. And come on causebox, it’s not even sustainable (plastic). They could’ve found a different material imo.

    Regardless it’s cute though

    • I like to see both the size, and a photo with a person. It gives me a better feel for how well it works for me. I don’t wear cross-bodies, not practical for me, so I also check how adjustable is the strap. If I love the purse but it has a long strap, I check if it can be shortened. This one can.

      • It’s 10x7x3. Dimensions noted in photo.

      • Check out the Causebox Instagram account. They are showing them there. They’re cute.

      • There is a photo above with a person!

    • Vegan leather is like fat-free cheese. Neither exists. They are marketing terms.

    • Its not ideal but way more sustainable than leather without the animal suffering

  18. This purse is 100% my style and would be okay with any of the colors! I wasn’t too crazy about the first spoiler, but I think the bag would be worth the price of the box (website shows a value of $75). Looking forward to more spoilers!!

  19. I really don’t need another purse, but I have been wanting a brownish one. The honey looks really pretty!

  20. I’m going to a cruise in May and this is exactly the kind of purse I need – it is so versatile and will do great for formal nights! So excited!! The only thing is that i can’t decide which one I like the most

    • For all those with issues about the plastic, please go to the brands website. I think their material info is under the sustainability portion. It may or may not change your mind about the materials but I read a lot comments about purses made from genuine leather, the sustainability of leather alternatives, and the “too much money for fake leather” comments. Some comments are spot on and others are totally false. Just learn about the materials friends. Designers are also using more materials than plastic to make handbags.

Now with that out of the way I don’t base my decision to buy a handbag on whether it’s leather. I purchase based on the design and quality. I have bags made from different materials including bags from the brand Causebox is using this season. I have 2 bags by them. I love the designs and they both have held up. I’m not totally sold on the bag this month because I have several those colors and the design is too plain, however, if I do get the box I have no worries about the quality.

  21. Vegan does nothing for me. Hopefully the quality is there. I’m either going to choose the black or grey.

  22. I’ve had Pixie Mood stuff before – usually cute color schemes are their thing – shocked to see them going so bland.

  23. Pixie Mood is a great brand, looking forward to this box.

  24. I’m likely going to skip this box. The purse is just not my style and I already have reusable produce bags.

  25. Very cute and vegan leather is 100% aligned with Cause Box, I would be surprised if they chose to include piece of a dead animal in their box.

    • I agree!

      • Me three.

    • Leather is better for the earth that plastic made from petrochemicals. Plastic is killing animals in natural habitats, it does not compost, it is a contaminant in multiple forms and situations, and it is not renewable. At least leather is from animals raised for that use. Animals that would not exist normally. The one downer with leather is it comes from an animal source.

      • Leather is also problematic, beyond the “dead animal” (which is a big no from me). The chemicals used in most leather tanning is also petro-chemical based and toxic.

      • I don’t understand this anti-leather movement. I can see vegans having an issue but if you eat any part of the cow I just don’t get it. The animal is likely going to be slaughtered either way, would we not want as much of the animal to be used as possible…

      • Most leather is not a by product of the meat industry and I am always surprised that this is not more well known. The diet you feed a cow to fatten them up before killing them for their meat is completely different than the diet you feed a cow to prepare their skin to be leather.

    • They’ve had leather products in boxes before.

  26. Yuck vegan leather! Stop using cheap plastic !!!

    • I am liking the honey.

    • I like to see both the size, and a photo with a person. It gives me a better feel for how well it works for me. I don’t wear cross-bodies, not practical for me, so I also check how adjustable is the strap. If I love the purse but it has a long strap, I check if it can be shortened. This one can.

      • It’s available on the company website.

  27. Really need the size of the purse to decide. Thanks.

    • Brand website says 10x3x7.

    • Size noted in photo above

  28. I’m a no on the vegan leather. I’m going to skip this box.

  29. Wish companies would stop using the laughable term “vegan leather”. It is not leather, so don’t call it that. Call it whatever the industry name is for that particular synthetic material. We consumers appreciate truth.

  30. Ooo! I like the purse (any color looks nice).

  31. Premium vegan leather = marketing tactic

    • Actually pixie mood uses PU rather than PVC and the material is better quality/ more sustainable.

      • Not original from me. This is a cut and paste from research on vegan leathers, concerning PU. For the record, I use very little leather, but I too agree you should know more about so called “vegan” materials before you make a choice.

PU leather is actually in its real form basically a blend of different artificial chemicals.
Pu leather smells very synthetic like plastic or chemicals. (this fades with time)
Usually real leather, especially when older, feels slightly softer and smoother compared to PU leather. PU can look fake and synthetic.
PU leather isn’t breathable like genuine leather.
Easily wears over time and can crack, which means it doesn’t last as long as real leather.
Can puncture or tear easily unlike genuine leather.
PU leather doesn’t develop the same luster or patina as real leather over time.
Not all PU leathers are vegan because some contain leftover genuine leather.
Even though it uses fewer resources to make, plastics like PU don’t decompose and aren’t the most eco-friendly.

  32. Very cute!

    • Pixie Mood is a great brand, looking forward to the box.
