Is MSA going to review this box? It would be very helpful. Is MSA skipping this review because of the controversy about the Faccia Skin 24K?

I think the value Boxycharm put on the 24K moisturizer is fraudulent, but I liked my box.

Also, that moisturizer isn’t full of poison. There’s no reason to expect it is contaminated. It’s just not great. Don’t add it to a landfill without trying it. Don’t waste. I used it, and I’ll finish the jar. It’s ok. I disliked some Sunday Reilly stuff more. You can look up the ingredients.

Yay! I got the Serum I wanted to try so hopefully the Feb box has the KS serum … keep this retinoids coming … lol

Ok, I am actually loving this blush. It is one of those things that looks crap in the box but actually turns out pretty awesome on the cheek.

Agitated about the Gold Foil moisturizer, pretty sure it has been rebranded.
This is kind of what I would call deceptive to bump up value of box.
The straightener is not great either after using it. Keeps kinking and dragging.
The Tarte Primer is a win.
The hourglass in Ambient is too light.
The watermelon mist is just so-so
Not really a 35 dollar box for me
Looking forward to Fenty next month.

Someone said below if you have luxe (not sure if you do), choice isn’t until the 17th.

Reply ButtonReply

MayBritt

That is correct. 🙂

Yea I don’t have this option either, sigh…

I picked the murad eye cream…and got 2 items from the boxypop-ups..

Reply ButtonReply

Susan

How did you get the choice option to show up?

I’ve been watching and reading all the controversy surrounding Boxycharm for awhile. The last two months of Premium have proved that the naysayers were in fact, correct. Last month it was three wooden eye pencils with a RV of $55. In what universe? A website that was incredibly basic with no other products!!! Not cool. Then this month we get a $100 moisturizer that once again, is on a basic website with no other products. It was found for $2 on one of those cheap Asian sites. So basically we are getting ripped off when retail values are totaled. But it’s not illegal because there are websites actually selling the product even if the companies are not legit and Boxy did their own website. (I guarantee no one has ever purchased these products through the websites). And of course, items like this are NEVER advertised before the end of the month when it’s too late to cancel. I love Boxy for the most part but c’mon…this is ridiculous and just makes the scam allegations look really legit (they are).

summersam

so true! those pencils were NOT good. $55 for 3 pencils should have lent to beautiful buttery pencils, like UD for example, not these dry wet-n-wild-esque pancils :(. I did enjoy the kat von D eyeshadow, the Farsali, the brow kit and the TF palette. The body scrub was given away, because i cant use those kinds of products. So I guess it was still a good deal. I wish they would make products with Glycolic acid or any products with agents that might not be usable by all a choice. But my friend was happy to have it, so it wasnt a loss.

Alexis

Yes, and I emailed Boxy and they try to say they find up in coming brands so we can try new things. Bull, they are trying to skate by.

Reply ButtonReply

Lacie

I love this comment because you are saying the truth without being rude or Ugly about it like I’ve seen in the past few days.. I personally think it’s wrong for boxy to do that .. Not one single person will buy those terrible hard $55 eyeliners or that knock of (bad smelling) $100 face moisturizer.. any thing coming from the brands you named are for “fillers” only and to make the boxes seem “worth more” it’s sad..

Reply ButtonReply

Candi

I totally agree. I was really hoping it wasn’t true , but it sure is looking like it is.

Wow, that Glow Recipe mist is small. This is exactly the box I received today except that mine had the curling iron.

Not interested in that 24 hour brand moisturizer that can be found online for under $20, nor that eye shadow palette nor the Korres body lotion which actually dries my skin out. The other 3 items are okay. Not super excited with my box, bummer.

Maria

I feel the same. This was my exact variation. I was SUPER disappointed with my January Premium and this one is a major let down since I will probably only use the primer, spray and maybe the body butter or blush (although I doubt it because I already have plenty of other brands I prefer.) I ended up not liking the palette in person because those shades make me look like a corpse most of the time. Of course I won’t be touching that jar of glycerin. And now that the Fenty box is looking like a big flop (at least for me personally, I know others are excited and pleased as can be) I think it’s high time I cancel before I blow another $35 for a total of over $100 in unnecessary beauty box spending so far this year. I really wish I had cancelled after my horrible January box.

Loving my premium this month! Easily my favorite one thus far, I even decided to overlook the moisturizer! Obsessed with the Hourglass blush, I got Diffused Heat and it’s stunning! Love anything Glow Recipe and excited to try the Tarte primer, I have dry skin so it sounds right up my alley. Happy I got the vanilla body butter, seems like a nice cream. I chose the flat iron so of course happy with that! Boxy nailed it this month for me!

I am very iffy about the Faccia Skin 24K Gold Foil Moisturizer. So many bad comments gear to it and the website is bare with the only product available. Their IG was just created in Feb. Is this a legit product or something that is rebranded?? I can’t see how this can be $100.

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

I noticed that, too! I will use this as a leg moisturizer…not touching my face (not to sound snotty – I just don’t trust it to be of quality)

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia ryan

I just happened to check out the website for the moisturizer and this was on the websites statement page…don’t know if it’s legit or not.

Since the launch of our Faccia Skin, there have been many comments questioning the validity of the brand. This is to address the concern that some people have had with Faccia Skin 24K moisturizer.

Our product is produced via a parent company “DLS Cosmetics”, a multi-brand importer and manufacturer.

DLS has many overseas manufacturing partners. Facilities are selected through very stringent practices. All DLS factories have international Good Practice certifications. They all utilize FDA approved ingredients. They need and must operate in a sanitized environment. All factories must employ adult workers. All factories must not and DO NOT test ingredients or products on animals.

DLS representatives visit all their overseas partners at least once a year. Furthermore, they employ outside local agencies to consistently audit productions.

DLS helps smaller companies (like Faccia Skin) to create, import and fulfill orders. DLS does NOT own every brand it works with.

Recently, it was brought to our attention that one of our manufacturers has knockoffs of our moisturizer posted on marketplaces. These were clearly from over production runs that were posted for sale on these sites. We have contacted them, and we are pleased to report that our product was finally removed from these marketplaces.

While we welcome constructive criticism about our products, we condemn and will not stand for foul and aggressive language and of course, personal attacks. In recent weeks our CEO, her husband and their 6-week old baby have been the object of continued personal attacks and severe brutal verbiage amongst people on multiple social platforms. Because of this, she is stepping down from all communication and our team of professionals will take over.

If you have questions or comments, you may reach us at [email protected]. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Be careful using this anywhere. A customs report shows she bought these off of Alibaba for $1.40. She also owns Luna by Luna, Steve Laurant, Bang Beauty and Dirty little secrets cosmetics. We found the Luna by Luna lip oil on Alibaba also. She also isn’t Cruelty free. Only one of her companies is even though all her websites say they are cruelty free.

Marie

It definitely looks rebranded.

Reply ButtonReply

Debbie

This is not a legit product. Can be bought under a different label for $1.70. Mine is going to to the trash. Zero credibility, zero trust.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

I wouldn’t put that 24 gold moisturizer on my skin. Yes, straight to the trash. Please don’t think we are idiots. $100.00 cream?? Not on my watch

C C

That moitsturizer can be found elsewhere online for under $20! DISAPPOINTING! Jacking up the box value by $100 when its a cheap box filler. Disappointing makes BC look bad to inflate pricing. I call BS on BC for starting and consistently doing this the past few months!

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

It can be found for $2 actually. 😂

Missy B

I wish I could get off the darn waitlist already ergh

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I just cancelled my long standing waitlist, so that will open a spot.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

I just joined Boxy Luxe, and got waitlisted as well. Is anyone familiar how this works??

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

I just got off the waitlist for this month but I joined back in October. Not a regular Boxy or Luxe subscriber so that may have made my wait longer. I see people who join regular Boxy only waiting 1 month or so.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth in Oklahoma

I’ve been waitlisted for 3 months now. There’s no rhyme and reason to it. I would have liked it all except the moisturizer.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

What is the deal with the waitlist? Does anyone know? I just joined Boxy Luxe, but they put me on a waitlist.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

Boxyluxe only comes out quarterly, in March, June, September and December. If you sign up to Boxyluxe you will get a luxe box in place of the base box in those months and be charged an extra amount of $24.99 on top of the normal $25 per month base box cost in those four months ($49.99 total).

I love Boxycharm ! It’s my favorite of all the boxes. I love all the new and exciting changes they have made

Hey what time does the pop up sale becomes available?

Reply ButtonReply

Debbie

It’s up. Unfortunately I was at TJ Maxx last night and saw almost everything they have listed FOR LESS. I did pick up Becca hydrating powder which I love and didn’t see at my TJ Maxx but despite the huge amount of products listed on boxy a quick trip to Marshall’s or TJ could net you the same products for a lot less. The makeup brush prices are out of control on boxy. Think I will stick to Mercari if I needed brushes.

This flat iron was awful. I’m livid too because I was sooo excited and when it came in I gave my flat iron to a friend. This piece of crap drags and tugs all through my hair, leaves kinks when I try to curl using it and then won’t iron them out when I try straightening with it. It’s feels like nothing… so lightweight it could be air but yet it still can’t glide through my hair without practically ripping but out. so cheap feeling. I never make vids but I am making a vid right now to demonstrate and also compare it to my old af severely cracked on one side babybliss nano titanium and I’ll tell u my broken straightener blows this one out of the water I promise you that! This was my first boxycharm premium and I couldn’t be more disappointed. And now I don’t have a flat iron. Grrrr

Kenley

Where do you live? My TJ Maxx is a joke? Their cosmetics section and skincare section is so minimal and none of those products seen in the popup sale are at my local store. Very disappointing!

POP UP IS OPEN NOW

trying hard to get on this pr. box….waitlist, what is that about.?

Reply ButtonReply

Christa H.

I’m thankful for Boxycharm! They really are amazing and are the reason I skipped my Ipsy again…😳🤗😊👍❤

Reply ButtonReply

Rose

I get them both. I really don’t need more full size pallets, but they all go to good homes (not everyone can afford all of these subscriptions). I know I am such a hypocrite, as I feel that I benefit just as much from reading the negative comments as the positive, but I wanted to chime in and say that I am continuously impressed by Boxy. Even if the products are ones I can’t use, the value is always there (and if it’s skincare, I’m almost always happy with that).

Caroline

I haven’t had Boxy for a few months but just a warning to others: I got that Korres Body Butter from Anthropologie and while it smells great and is highly moisturizing, it shows up a little white on me and I’m super pale. Probably won’t be great if you have darker skin.

Jackie

Same 🙂
