I recently heard Birchbox business is slowing and 25% of employees were laid off. I’m glad I didn’t pay an annual membership upfront. I have already been burned in that area by other boxes. 😫

Thanks for posting about this! It seems like a lot of the same sale stuff as they’ve recently had sitting around, but I grabbed some of the Baggus at 50% off. Even though the colors aren’t my fave, but at like $5 each I will deal with it, haha. There was also a Baggu promo code (meshbaggu) available yesterday for a baby mesh baggu with $35 purchase, so I got 5 Baggus (4 standard, 1 baby) for $24!
I was tempted by the S’well bottles but I have been getting my stainless reusable bottles at TJ Maxx and such for < $10, so now even 50% off seems like a lot 🙂

Is the price that is listed what they consider 50% off or the sale price? It stays the same price even after it goes in my cart. No code is needed bc it says it automatically happens. Could that be at check out? Thanks for the help!

The standard size are $12 regular price, so in my cart they were showing 50% off (so 4 standard bags were $48 less the $24 discount).
I also added the mystery deluxe sample pack for $10, which was free w/$35 purchase, to get to the $50 free shipping. So my total was $58, minus the $34 discount ($24 for the 50% off bags and $10 for the mystery pack) which ended up at $24.
I just clicked on the site to see what you were saying about the cart issues, but the Baggus are showing as unavailable now so I can’t test it. Also the meshbaggu code appears to be out of stock now :-/ Hopefully you got some at the discount price!

Ha – thanks! I’m a little bummed that the “good” colors were not in the sale, but that’s ok for something to stick in my purse for impromptu shopping trips 🙂
