I finally emailed to cancel instead of calling. The confirmation email contained a link to a short survey asking why I was canceling. It has space for you to write exactly what you want to say.

Enough with the variations already! It’s really annoying to think you may get to try something you really want, only to get the OTHER thing that you have no interest in.

I really hope the Dr.jart is not a variation. I’ve been wanting to try that forever and was hoping it would show up in a box. I skipped feb As well. March and April don’t look as bad as feb. . I don’t want the lipgloss or the cleansing powder and eyeliner and if I get the other variations I will be happy .

I skipped February and I’m excited for March. Love Mamonde products. Not looking forward to gloss or the powder but everything else makes up for it. I go through Amazon and the boxes have been a good selection.
I don’t think April looks too bad.

I won’t mind another pot of the Cicapair. That stuff is nice.

I also don’t understand the appeal of The Floss. I’d rather wear peanut butter on my lips.

Last time I got one, I puled out the wand, sniffed, and pitched it.
I despise the smell of coconut, which is depressingly popular.

I just cancelled. My first box was December 2019 and included the Moon Child pallette AND I got the Hot Tools hot air brush. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Both my January and February boxes were duds. Spoilers look boring. You atarted out strong, but fizzled fast. I actually went back and looked at a year’s worth of reviews and nothing wowed me.
If Sephora doesn’t step up, they may be next to go.

I know!! The Hot Tools was an amazing gift. I subscribed a second time on my mom’s behalf to gift her her own. I kept both subscriptions for January, then we both disliked February so I cancelled them. I’m not sure if I will resubscribe for either of us anytime soon.

I thought the hot brush was only included if you did an annual subscription?

Jackie
It was offered first with a one month subscription.

I just re-subbed for the year and I’m annoyed. Last year was overall okay but all the “or” products this year are driving me nuts. Some of them are things I got last year from Allure and I wish I could trust them to not re-send me items but I don’t really have any faith.

That is EXACTLY why I canceled! I don’t like the variations. Why even do that? After I saw the March spoilers, I canceled and I’ve been with them for several years. I remember one of the 1st Allure boxes that had a Full size Sunday Riley CEO serum in it and I was HOOKED. I even went and subbed thru Amazon as well, bc the items were so good that I wanted 2 boxes. Now, I’ll pass. The only sub i’m really digging now is Boxycharm & Boxy Premium as well as my 2 ipsy glam bags. I canceled Sephora Play, Macys, Glossybox, and now Allure. Please get it together, Allure! It’s 2020! The products should be be getting better, not worse!!! Just my opinion though.

Allure was around waaaaay before the full sized sunday riley…sadly I’ve been subbed way before and after, never skipping a month and I think it’s about time to cancel.
With the industry they are in, and the connections they SHOULD have it’s sad to see what happened. Now, they have like a really good box 1 or 2 times a year and that’s it. Since the other beauty editor took over 2 years ago there has been a huge shift in quality and repeats and old not good items have been sent.
Susan
Allure and BeautyFix are sure making it easy for me to save money, have not been happy with either in a long time. But for the price of Allure depending on how many items I like it’s not bad but for the other too many sample sizes for the price.

Same! I needed to save money bad though, so it all works for me!

That Floss gloss has been knocking around boxes for a while now. It’s not bad, but if you have one you are ok with never having another. Full on meh. It doesn’t make me want to buy their other products, so it’s a bit of an anti-promotion. Right now when I hear “Floss’ I think, “that plain sticky lipgloss.” Not good promotion, imo.

Not to mention the fact that it grows stuff on the inside unless you use it really fast. Those wands are very unsanitary. Gross.

Me too! Some blackish mold looking stuff. At first I thought it could be debris from my black purse, but no, it’s some type of black crud!!! I’m a total germaphobe. This really grossed me out too! Now another one is headed my way. BLIMEY!!!!!
Jamey
Yikes. Mine I got a few months back hasn’t grown anything in it…I’ll have to keep an eye out for that..ugh

How do you pause? Do you have to cancel and then resubscribe again?

You have to email them and ask to skip the month you don’t want to receive a box
