Proozy January 2020 Lifestyle Mystery Box Review

Under Armour UA Tech Sportstyle Crew Neck T-Shirt, size L – Retail Value $24.99 (currently on sale for $12.99)

My New Year’s resolution this year is to exercise more, and what more motivation does one need to walk off those pounds with Leslie Sansone than a new Under Armour tee?! I love this semi-fitted, crew neck, Heatgear shirt! Basic black is my go-to athleticwear color, and the small fluorescent orange logo on the breast is the perfect addition for just a pop of contrast. I like that it isn’t baggy, yet it doesn’t cling and is long enough to keep my bottom covered! It also helps that the tee-ball team I coach has black and orange uniforms! I’ll fit right in!

Reebok Momentum Capri Leggings, size L – Retail Value $60.00 (currently on sale for $7.99)

I love capris, and I was in dire need of a new pair! You can see me modelling them in the gallery above. These Reebok skinny capris fit like a dream! They have a high waist and are perfect for doing yoga and pilates. I had no issues with them falling down or riding up. They were the perfect length and also feature a drawstring capability. The polyspan material these are made out of is lightweight and moisture-wicking so I didn’t sweat through them during my workout! I am definitely going to buy another pair!

Under Armour Heatgear Red Running Shorts, size L – Retail Value $25.00 (currently on sale for $9.99)

While I usually prefer capris and leggings for working out, there is a time and a place when shorts are needed! These red Heatgear running shorts are elastic waisted, moisture-wicking, and breathable. I liked the length of the shorts, and they were very comfortable to run in, but they were a bit too loose. I generally wear a large in running shorts/leggings, but I think a medium would have been a much better fit.

Reebok Women’s Pullover Jacket, size L – Retail Value $130.00 (currently on sale for $29.99)

Last, but not least, I received this black and white Reebok pullover jacket. This jacket slightly feels like a windbreaker, but it is lined with fleece throughout the top half. It features 2 pockets, a drawstring, and a 1/4 zipper pull. The large fit well, with the sleeves being the perfect length, but I wish the body of it was a teeny, tiny bit longer. I like that the jacket matches the included capris, and can definitely see myself wearing this on spring morning jogs!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $239.99. If I were to buy these items separately on the Proozy website with the sale prices my total would come to $60.96, which is slightly less than $1 over the cost of the box. While all of the included items fit and are things I will wear, I wish they would have added another item into the box to bring the value up a bit more. I could have chosen items I would have known for sure I would have liked for almost the same price, so an extra item would have made this a better deal to me.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this mystery box if you order today? Mystery boxes are still available, but your items will likely differ from mine!

Value Breakdown: At $60 with free shipping, each of the 4 items breaks down to about $15.

While I am taking a time-out from being a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, I am currently staying at home with my 2 sweet boys! My first subscription was Julep thanks to happening upon the MSA website, and it all went downhill from there! I have subscribed to Ipsy, Boxycharm, Degustabox, Julep, Graze, Bluum, Walmart, and more because I love a good surprise! I truly am a subscription addict!

  1. I’ve seen similar items at Ross for sale. I don’t think this box is really worth it.

  2. This is exactly what i was wondering. As their site is the last bargain place to sell these items they are deeply discounted. If they wanted to meet the $240 amount they promised in the box they would have needed to include 4 times the number of items! Totally misleading and not worth it one bit. Great review though and you did get some nice items.

  3. Now the box is marked 99.99. Not much of a deal. For that sort of price I’d just go to Marshalls and pick out what I like. Thanks for the great review.

  4. You look so cute in your workout gear!!

  5. Price is now $99.99 for the box…so it sounds like there is actually the potential to lose money on this if everything included are sale items, especially if they happen to be as deeply discounted as some of your pieces were.

    • The Proozy mystery boxes always seem to be a huge waste of money. It’s likely marked up to $99.99 but they will have a “coupon” to make it $60 again. At least this one isn’t as bad as some of the other ones they sent out in previous years that had promotional water bottles and knockoff fitbits in them.
