Our Love Goodly VIP Box Review

Each box comes with an info card detailing the items included. There is also an additional card if you are a VIP subscriber ($48.95 a box).

Now, on to the items!

Paradox Lucky Star Blemish Patches, 40 patches - Retail Value $18.00

So I am not generally someone who ever really breaks out... at least that was true until about a month ago! I am not sure if it is age or hormones, but I have been breaking out a lot recently. I thought I would be over this sort of thing after 30, but I guess not. Usually, the zits I do see are the larger painful variety that do come to a head, and sticking cute stars on them before bed is a much better plan of action then attacking them until my entire face is angry. These little patches have a powerful combo of tea tree oil and hydrocolloid which work together to zap zits away with less irritation. I noticed that they seemed to have a "drying up" sort of effect on my bumps and though they didn't seem to magically erase them, they did speed up healing time significantly.

Paradox Caffeinated Eye Cream Roller, 0.5 fl oz - Listed Value $35.00

Such pretty packaging! This metal ball-tipped roller houses a clear liquid eye serum that is filled with caffeine and green tea extracts. I tossed mine in the fridge and it has become one of my favorite morning activities for depuffing and cooling down the delicate skin under my eyes before I apply any moisturizer or makeup.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara in 'Blackberry', 10 g – Retail Value $26.00

I like this brand, and I was reasonably excited about a mascara from them, especially in such gorgeous packaging. I was even more excited when I realized instead of black, this mascara is a deep plummy berry brown shade! I have light brown eyes and find little subtle additions of plum make them pop even more, and this mascara complemented my fair skin and eye color even better than black. To be clear, it doesn't look plum on, but the overall effect is so much softer than my normal black. It was a wee bit clumpy, but this was fixed with an extra swipe or two of the wand, and it stayed put all day. It also smells like berries!!

Glaminizers Serenity Anxiety Oil, 4.35 g – Retail Value $21.00 (currently on sale for $18.00)

Our info card said this should be a mask, so I was confused when instead it was an essential oil roller. I do love things like this though, and the value was comparable, so I decided to go with it. This oil smells mostly like spearmint to my nose, but it also has lavender and eucalyptus. There is a dried rosebud floating around inside which makes it pretty to fiddle with too. I don't generally get super stressed on anxious (or I am just forever in denial) so I was left to appreciate it for its lovely scent alone.

VIP Box Item: Wildlands Organics Bare Ritual Oil, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $38.00

Our VIP box item was a truly beautiful glass bottle filled with an unscented oil blend inside. Comprised of jojoba, olive, argan, baobab, and camellia, cranberry, raspberry, and hemp seed oils, this is a moisture powerhouse! It is unscented other then a faint natural scent, but you can add in a few drops of any of your fave essential oils if you prefer more fragrance. This all-over oil can be used on hair, body, face, and cuticles.

Verdict: Love Goodly has a value of $138.00 this month, which is good for a $48.95 box. I actually think this is one of my favorite assortments from this box yet. Everything was practical, useful, and beautiful. I especially love the berry mascara and ritual oil, and the eye roller and blemish stars have gotten loads of use too. For the price, I would have maybe liked to see one more item (this box felt a tiny bit light to me), but overall I am pretty happy.

To Wrap Up:

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
