Jewelry Subscription is a jewelry subscription service that sends one to three pieces of jewelry to you monthly. The number of items you receive is dependent on what plan you select. And the best part is—you get to keep it all!

This review is for the Classic Jewelry Subscription Box, $36.99 a month, 2-3 piece plan.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

About Jewelry Subscription

The Subscription Box: Jewelry Subscription

The Cost: $23.99 for one piece per month or $36.99 for two to three pieces per month + free shipping.

The Products: 1-3 jewelry pieces (dependent on the plan selected) ranging from classic to trendy styles. (The selections are personalized to me based on a style profile I filled out, so you may not get the same items as I did.) While they don’t include retail values, the Jewelry Subscription website states each box is valued between $50-$400!

Ships to: The U.S only. Ships the 1st and 15th of each month.

Good to Know: Jewelry Subscription also offers the Lux Ring membership for $24.99 monthly and includes one hand-picked ring in sizes 5-11 that is at least a $75 retail value!

Jewelry Subscription Box Review January 2020

Ombre Silver to Gold Rhinestone Ring (Size 7)

Check out this sparkler! If you can't choose between wearing gold or silver jewelry, you are in luck with this piece because it's BOTH! One side of the band is gold, which fades into silver for the other side of the band. If that's not exciting enough, they have added 17 colorless gemstones to the front of one side of the ring, with a large round stone in the middle. This piece is quite pretty and abstract, looking nothing like any of my other jewelry. I found this ring to be comfortable, easy to wear, and a great added touch to any outfit!

Gold Circle Necklace

Next up is this wonderful opera-length gold necklace. At over 36" long, this cable chain is adorned with a circle-shaped pendant that is split in half and hangs a bit off-kilter. The pendant itself is about the size of a quarter and has a brushed texture throughout the entire piece. It adds just the right amount of shine to an open front cardigan and is light and easy to wear.

Gold Hammered Scroll Earrings

My favorite item in this month's box were these fabulous gold earrings! I love the shape, size, and fit of these babies! The hammered texture really adds extra dimension to the scroll design, and makes the light catch them even more! I found this pair of earrings to be light and easy to wear with no irritation. I love how they look with an updo and plan on wearing them often!

Verdict: With Jewelry Subscription you never know what you are going to get! This month I received 3 items and I am very happy with what my stylist chose for me. While I generally wear shorter necklaces, I was happy to receive a longer one that coordinated with the rest of the pieces. I also loved the earrings, and the ring was a nice addition to my collection. Some months I get an assortment of items, but I'd really rather have pieces that can go together, and they really were spot on this month. I can't wait to see what they send next month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on your style profile! Also, it looks like Jewelry Subscription is not currently accepting new subscribers for plans aside from the Lux Ring membership, so check back to their website to see when enrollment is open again.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.99 a month + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $12.33.

It’s probably best not to call them “gold” because for that subscription price, they are not. (There is a possibility they are plated.) The stones could be CZ (which is inexpensive) but could also be glass rhinestones. The “silver” is probably imitation rhodium plating.

That’s not to disparage the jewelry, I have a lot of costume jewelry and wear it regularly, but I also think the subscription should be more up front about materials so potential subscribers can make an informed decision and also consider allergies (e.g., to nickel) and proper care (e.g., cleaning to keep from damaging the finish, and storage to avoid tarnishing if that is a concern based on the particular materials).
