Jewelry Subscription is a jewelry subscription service that sends one to three pieces of jewelry to you monthly. The number of items you receive is dependent on what plan you select. And the best part is—you get to keep it all!

This review is for the Classic Jewelry Subscription Box, $36.99 a month, 2-3 piece plan.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Jewelry Subscription Box Review December 2019

Sapphire and Clear Gemstone Ring (Size 7)

This month I received this beautiful silver gemstone ring. The top of this piece features a scroll design with alternating gemstones across the entire top. Not only are these stones displayed on the top, but they are throughout the entire piece. The sides AND bottom have stones all around! This ring sits quite high, and from the side, reminds me slightly of the "Iron Throne." Because I ate a little too much salty food during the holidays, I displayed this on my pinky finger, but since have fit it back on my ring finger. While colored gemstone jewelry doesn't usually strike my fancy, this ring looks really nice on, and pairs well with both casual and dressy clothing.

Gold Square Necklace

Check out this necklace! I am loving the dangling squares that adorn this piece! It is incredibly shiny and fun, and unlike anything else I own! The 14" chain is the perfect length for round necked tops and really adds glitz to any outfit. I found the traditional lobster clasp to work well and I love that it is adjustable. This piece really makes me feel fancy, and I really like the way it looks with my new Maurices jacket!

Silver Circle Bar Earrings

The last item I received were these silver circle bar earrings. Honestly, after the excitement of the necklace and the ring, I found these very underwhelming. While they look okay, the overall style isn't quite my cup of tea. Also, while photographing, I noticed they didn't lay quite right, and after further investigation, I noticed one earring had 14 dangles, and the other had 17, so they weren't evenly matched. The posts of these earrings seemed fine, but I just wasn't impressed. They did add a bit of shine to an outfit with a half up-do, but I'm not sure how much use I will get out of these.

Verdict: Jewelry Subscription is definitely a surprise! With the ring resembling a Game of Thrones piece, I really enjoyed it! And the necklace was so much fun that I wore it out the day I received it. I really didn't care for the earrings and was really bummed the pieces didn't match. I know I won't like every piece they send and was pretty satisfied that I enjoyed 2 out of 3, but I would prefer if all items coordinated, or at least were the same color. I hope they hit a homerun next month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on your style profile! Also, it looks like Jewelry Subscription is not currently accepting new subscribers for plans aside from the Lux Ring membership, so check back to their website to see when enrollment is open again.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.99 a month + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $12.33.

I actually love the earrings and don’t care at all for the others.

While they don’t all match, they are all wearable and cute pieces. I like the modern look of the necklace and earrings.

The earring style is sort of an up-and-coming trend based on what the jewelry supply companies are trying to sell right now. I have seen a lot of the post/circle combos in promotional emails (where you would put whatever you wanted dangling from them).

Sometimes I discount those trends at first but then later I see jewelry reviews here incorporating some of the items.
